If somebody gets my debit card, they have to change my entire checking account.

I have never had that problem. My debit card is an entirely different number, and they simply shut down that card. I don't know. That's strange. Never heard of that.

If that's how your bank operates, then yeah, I would either use a pre-paid card, or I would get one like my paypal card, that is a pass-through.

I'll still never get a credit card again. Those things are like snakes. The more you think have the snake by the head, the more painful it will be when it bites you.

I'll never pay interest or fees to a bank again, if I can help it.

I use an AmEx card for literally everything. But it isn't a credit card, it's a charge card. It must be paid off completely each month. Once my credit score was high enough to qualify, I went to the American Express and have never looked back. You're right that credit cards are bad news.

I've lectured you on economics on dozens of occasions. University of Phoenix used to pay me to lecture morons like you on basic economic principles, no one pays me to educate your ignorant ass so I shan't bother.
I thank goodness for modern broadband times and videos on the subjects I want to learn more about. All you have is fallacy not any valid arguments.

And, our welfare clause is General and must cover any given contingency in a top down manner, we also have a Commerce Clause and even a central bank, what else is there to know under our form of Capitalism?

When it comes to the military, are we supposed to be minding our business or be the world's policeman? Britain did that job before us. It did make them rich. But we are tired of losing our children in endless conflicts also.
About a year ago the US assassinated IRG general Qassim Suleimani to kick off 2020; according to some, that was done partially to contain Chinese inroads in the Middle East but mainly to prop up the US dollar as the principal global reserve currency:

How the US Wages War to Prop up the Dollar | Ryan McMaken

"The assassination was intended to escalate America’s presence in Iraq to keep control of the region’s oil reserves, and to back Saudi Arabia’s Wahabi troops (Isis, Al Quaeda in Iraq, Al Nusra and other divisions of what are actually America’s foreign legion) to support U.S. control of Near Eastern oil as a buttress of the U.S. dollar.

"That remains the key to understanding this policy, and why it is in the process of escalating, not dying down."

Michael Hudson was in the rooms fifty years ago when this balance of payments dimension first went into play:

America Escalates Its “Democratic” Oil War in the Near East - CounterPunch.org

"I sat in on discussions of this policy as it was formulated nearly fifty years ago when I worked at the Hudson Institute and attended meetings at the White House, met with generals at various armed forces think tanks and with diplomats at the United Nations.

"My role was as a balance-of-payments economist having specialized for a decade at Chase Manhattan, Arthur Andersen and oil companies in the oil industry and military spending.

"These were two of the three main dynamic of American foreign policy and diplomacy. (The third concern was how to wage war in a democracy where voters rejected the draft in the wake of the Vietnam War.)"

Because of government, turd.
There's one less turd in government

So how much do you suppose you'll be paying for gasoline, natural gas, or propane for your home with a fossil fuel tax? Providers pass down all their costs to us.
Fossil fuel fortunes have come into existence through subsidies and other forms of government intervention in "free markets." The sooner gas, coal, and oil are taxed into extinction, the better, imho:

Fact Sheet: Fossil Fuel Subsidies: A Closer Look at Tax Breaks and Societal Costs - OurEnergyPolicy

"There is a long history of government intervention in energy markets. Numerous energy subsidies exist in the U.S. tax code to promote or subsidize the production of cheap and abundant fossil energy.

"Some of these subsidies have been around for a century, and while the United States has enjoyed unparalleled economic growth over the past 100 years—thanks in no small part to cheap energy—in many cases, the circumstances relevant at the time subsidies were implemented no longer exist.

"Today, the domestic fossil fuel industries (namely, coal, oil and natural gas) are mature and generally highly profitable.

"Additionally, numerous clean and renewable alternatives exist, which have become increasingly price-competitive with traditional fossil fuels."

Solve simple poverty and raise the minimum wage until we raise enough tax revenue to balance the budget; make America Great!

can you define "simple poverty"? Are those people who live in the streets victims of "simple poverty"? I have seen lots of "victims of poverty" in "METROPOLITAN" USA. Nothing "simple" about
it. It has nothing to do with "minimum wage" nor will a "minimum wage" of eg. $ 20 per hour---SOLVE IT.
Freebee housing will not solve it.

Student loan forgiveness will make it WORSE.

the only issue solved by the bread and circuses policy
of our corrupt local governments and our corrupt
federal electees are THEIR bank accounts and unwarranted wealth

Equal protection of the laws in our at-will employment States can solve simple poverty and stimulate our economy in the process.

The underlying theme I see here simply is another give away, all solved by "tax the wealthy"....

College? = Tax the rich
Housing? = Tax the rich
Poverty? = Tax the rich
Food insecurity? = Tax the rich
Unemployment? = Tax the rich
etc, etc, etc....

Socialism is great until you run out of other peoples money....Margret Thatcher.

So, with the destruction of "at will" employment, does that mean that once you have a job you must keep that job....No freedom to move jobs at will as well?

The problem is right wingers have no better, fine capital solutions.
