I think Trump is an asshole as a person, but he did great as a president. The fbi has been corrupt for years, but last week they showed it.

And the Former President might not have chosen to handle the whole matter differently on location, and who he could get there personally?

We at least know now that arrangements had been made by the FBI, with the secret service agents who would be on site.

The secret service agents?

That can be used as evidence that the FBI/DOJ is actively hatching a plot against Trump. They will already have the damning evidence on how Trum[ comitted treason by sharing top secret information, but will be stalling to provide the desirable effect it will have.

That's my hunch and it does mesh with your suspicions quite well.
