Understanding What You're Seeing Today

I really like the guy's concept of hegemony in that it explains both left and right's mindset and means both sides play in their power struggle. While Gramsci utilization of the concept was the economic struggle between capitalism and Marxism, the basis of the concept can be applied elsewhere, as seen historically in the social change movement. Generally I see it as means to induce what is referred to as a paradigm shift.

Hayek's book offers a much better way to go about that, a couple of ways, actually.

I don't what?
Don't believe it to be fake news.
It's an opinion piece. There is "news", and there is "opinion". Two different things.

You know that, right?

And that was my point. It will be taken as fact by those who don't know the difference.

Actually it's a referral to one of the main Commie propagandists of the 20th Century and his books; you don't read those so you're annoyed by them or anybody suggesting people read from them especially when they are direct to the source of who is pulling your strings every day and is telling you what to say and do. Puppets usually claim they're not puppets, but it's obvious from the language and the contexts you're just parrots and tools, and mentally ill cop haters to boot.

It is very much news to many, who aren't aware there is indeed an agenda, and when they read Gramsci, they will have a better understanding of how your commie Masters lead you around by the nose, tell you what language and gimmicks to use, etc. It's obvious you aren't capable of thinking for yourself and aren't using your own words most of the time, you're parroting memes and whatever your Party tells you to.

Huh?

So you think I'm a "commie", do ya?

Indeed, George was a continuous thorn in the side of local law enforcement. He fought and resisted arrest and made.it difficult for police officers to do their job. He was passive aggressive and provocative with police many times and they weren't giving him any chances to mess with them anymore. His history of drug use probably also likely resulted in health issues which contributed to his death.

There was a similar story from NM where a homeless WHITE guy repeatedly attacked bystanders with a box cutter, was convicted of assault and eventually incarcerated for some time and then released only to do it again and again and again. Eventually New Mexico police found him squatting on State Park property. They approached him carefully and told him he would have to leave and he refused and eventually apparently went for a knife.... And was shot to death. However the story was covered as if the police simply "shot a homeless man in cold blood". What they are doing was finally taking a situation into their own hands since the courts weren't handling it. And after that man's history I do not blame them for what they did and I am willing to look the other way.

There is a rough similarity between what is happening today and what happened in the twenties and thirties; there is the appearance of a contest between "right" (fascist) and "left" (communist) with only one or the other for everyone to side with. "Democracy" is made to look impotent, ineffective, even cowardly.
Of course, this is all just a show, staged to bring to prominence those whom the powerful can either control or eliminate. Hitler got away from them, though. There are lessons from history we would do well not to have to repeat.

Wrong...the Right isn't "Fascist," fascists are left wingers......they simply don't buy into the "international," party of communism....Mussolini, the one who created the "fascist," name, was a life long communist who was kicked out of the communist party....so he started his own socialist brand........

The fascists and communists are both socialists.......fighting for control of the society.......they are not Right Wing, especially in the sense of the American Right wing, who believe in individual Rights and personal liberty, limited government and checks and balances on the power of government......
