It seems work and opportunity are great at cutting down crime. What a novel idea. Instead of shipping out jobs to China or having a person seeking their first job compete with an illegal immigrant, young people can work and take some pride in accomplishment.

THAT is the true civil rights movement that too many leaders turn their backs on, but Trump has not.

Thats because the demoRats let all dem niggaz loose
While that's one of the dumbest ways I can think of to say that... It's true.

It's being promoted as a good thing, but in reality... If you don't persecute and you empty the prisons/jails of people over Covid that's what you are going to have... Just like Covid isn't Trumps fault, this also is not. I don't care how you swing it, good or bad, it's not Trumps fault.

Lefties don’t care about that.

They would rather discuss Melania ‘yanking’ her hand away from Donald’s after the debate.

You know, real important things like that.

The incarceration rates for both jails and prisons in the United States have declined by more than 10 percent over the past 10 years, the federal report found. (Prison is for people serving sentences longer than one year, while jails typically hold those awaiting trial or sentencing, or those serving shorter sentences.)

The United States still has the largest known incarcerated population in the world.

A drop in the federal prison population, due in large part to a 2014 decision by the U.S. Sentencing Commission to reduce sentences for drug crimes, accounts for a third of the year-over-year decline. And while some states have significantly reduced their prison populations in recent years, others continue to set records for the number of people they are keeping locked up.

So as in everything else this trend started long before Trump, but as usual Trump Humpers love to try and give him credit for it.

I have no problem with that, as long as, the same rules apply equally. Unfortunately in this country that is not the case.

Wrong. The disparity is relative to the criminality, not the race.
Just like with the police killings. The wrong denominator is conveniently being used for bullshit political reasons.
It’s not about race, it’s about criminality.
