UNCHAINED: Biden calls for 'emancipation' of people's wealth...

Joe is correct. Spreading the wealth, keeping the cash on the move, helps everyone, even the very wealthy.
How can you spread it with out taking it from some one who earned it and giving it to some one who didn't earn it.
Very easy, you tax the higher end and you support the lower end using that and raising their wages so they have money to spend. When money just sits around it doesn't do much good. When it flows everyone does better. There's a reason Adam Smith was opposed to generational wealth transfers. It makes for lazy rich kids and holds back wealth that should be in the economy doing it some good.

Who writes Biden's speeches? They should be fired.

The Right and the Left are both wrong on this issue. The Right has taken their usual default position, "Problem? I see no problem!" The Left has taken their usual default position, "Let's solve this by taxing the rich more!"

If a thief is robbing your house on a regular basis, and he has police protection, what would you think of some retard who said, "Problem? I see no problem!"?

What would you think of another retard who said, "The way to solve this is to make people who live in bigger houses pay more taxes"?

You don't stop thieves by ignoring them or by punishing the wrong people. The same is true for the root causes of the unnatural income inequality problem.

If you took a minute and added up the state and federal income tax you pay the sales tax, the property tax, the gasoline tax, we are taxed at every turn so shut the fuck up and give me back my money.
It's not actually you money. A portion of it belongs to your society, which allows you to make it in the first place and pays for a lot of what is necessary for capitalism to work, including those little green pieces of paper with numbers on them. It's a pay to play game so pay up and deal.

Let's solve this by undoing the ungodly concentration of wealth at the top and getting it back down to the bottom where it can do us all some good. A healthy economy helps everyone, even the rich.

Here's a better idea. Let's solve this by correcting the root causes.

Rich people not being taxed enough is not the root cause, and so higher taxes will not solve the problem.

Yup retards think if they confiscate the "wealthy's" money all will be saved, the fact is it would solve nothing as once the distribute it out those people have no way to earn enough and spend it then everyone is broke again.

Actually is is one of the problems since we are still not paying our bills.

The higher end is taxed enough IMO, and who is it that is going to get their wages raised with a further increase in taxes? The only wages the government can raise are government employees, many of whom are vastly overpaid now.

If you want the government to steal your 401(k), vote Democrat

You didn't built that!

If you LIKE your 401K, you can KEEP your 401K - PERIOD.

So Biden is correct that the "wealthy control 1% of the economy?"

ROFL

ShitMyPants, you are one stupid mofo....
No, the top 1% control roughly 40% of the economy.

This is a problem because no nation that goes too far this way, and we're close, survives.

The root causes are many.

1) $1.2 trillion in annual tax expenditures are one of the biggest causes, greatly unleveling the playing field. Tax breaks and carve-outs for special interests. Tax expenditures are the biggest cause of our deficits and high tax rates. Eliminating them would level the playing field considerably, and enable us to lower EVERYONE's tax rates, while paying down the debt.

2) Prohibitive regulations which serve more to protect entrenched business interests rather than protect the consumer, making it too difficult for start-ups to break into the sector.

3) Conversely, deregulation of criminal activities, protecting fraudsters who are ripping off every American who is invested in any financial instrument, on a daily basis. Not one crook who was responsible for the crash spent a day in jail, and this has incentivized the continuation of fraudulent activities. The crooks are still up to their old tricks.

4) Deregulation of controls on financial weapons of mass destruction.

5) ZIRP, TARP, QE Infinity, and every other welfare program currently propping up Wall Street at the expense of savers and retirees. No one but the wealthy has the economies of scale necessary to increase their wealth under ZIRP and QE Infinity. This is beyond outrageous.

If we banned all tax expenditures, this alone would enable us to balance the budget AND lower everyone's tax rates.

Great, more of the there's only $100 to go around we need to divvy it up among everyone...

How colossally ignorant.
Not what I said at all. It's not a zero-sum game but the cash must flow.

What you really mean is that it must flow through government.

fuck that.
No, I mean that it must flow. If it doesn't everyone but the very rich gets hurts and hurts them as well, they just don't notice. Look at the cash flows during the Great Depression and you'll see what I mean. The less the money flowed the worse it got.

Great example. FDR used every redistribution trick and gave us the worst economy in human history
