U.S. EMBASSIES TO COSTLY TO MAINTAIN.
We need to start closing some of our embassies because they are too costly to maintain and to security in light of terrorist attacks.

The only embassies they really need to worry about are the ones in the ME.

Those in friendly countries are relatively safe.

Those in the ME are the ones where the marine guards NEED REAL BULLETS and extra security. Those guards should have orders to shoot to kill if anyone tried to break in.

Common Sense. Apparantly our State Department doesn't have any. Assholes.

Some US Embassies to Close August 4 for Security Reasons
August 01, 2013 - The United States will close a number of its embassies and consulates around the world on Sunday for security reasons.
In a written statement, the State Department did not specify which missions have been asked to close, nor the type of threat they face.

The statement said the embassies and consulates that have been told to close are ones normally open on Sundays. That would include embassies in the Muslim world, where the work week generally is from Sunday to Thursday.

Officials said the closures could be extended after an evaluation.
