Yikes. Looks like some in South Korea are gettin a bit disgruntled over our constant meddling. It's happening all around the world now. More & more are getting tired of the U.S. meddling and telling them who their Leaders will be.

Mark Lippert, U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, slashed by man calling for 'reunification'

The American ambassador to South Korea was injured in a politically motivated attack by a man wielding a razor on Thursday amid growing anti-U.S. tensions in the country.

Mark Lippert, the ambassador, was in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries at a Seoul hospital after he was attacked on his way to make a speech before a breakfast meeting, State Department officials and local police said.

same dude threw a rock at the same dude 5 years ago ... bad blood lingers.

Do the South Koreans want to live under the North Korean regime? if we left, thats what would happen.

Maybe. But it's time for them to fend for themselves. We've spent enough American Taxpayer cash and lives over there. They should be able to defend themselves now.

A maniac slashes the face of a U.S. Ambassador and the left finds a way to blame the U.S. for "meddling"? What's going on with the hypocrite left? They enjoy the benefits of the greatest Country in the world but they never stop apologizing for it.

They're just getting sick of the U.S. meddling and telling them who their Leaders will be. Their anger is understandable.

South Korea would not exist today if it wasn't for the 50,000 American lives it took to repel the NK invaders barely 60 years ago. How is it that "their anger is understandable"?

Rand Paul will never be elected President because too many of his supporters think like this.

Yeah anything bad that happens in the world is "blowback" against the US.
This is why narco-libertarians should never have power anywhere.

One nut does not define nor speak for a Nation, otherwise were toast. want proof, look toward Washington and the White House

That was then, this is now. Time for them to fend for themselves. We've spent more than enough Tax Dollars and lives over there. They should be able to handle themselves now. And many Koreans don't want us there anymore.

Well if they want to live under North Korean rule I say let them. We can take our troops and be on our way.

Running away from our obligations will only intensify instability. In the event South Korea desires to unify with the North Korea it will be by their choice, until then we are bound by SEATO and obligation to assist in their defense. As you are aware, this is not the case, in fact quit the opposite is true, their fear of the North is real and faced daily.

I'd say 60yrs of massive American Taxpayer Cash and thousands of American lives, is more than enough. South Korea can handle things now. Time to bring the cash and soldiers home.

I have to wonder what kind of world libertarians envision. What do they imagine it would look like in the absence of American power?
