TV and Movies about Authoritarian Governments

We have questionable ways being forced on people. Some approve and some do not. There have been TV and Movies made about Authoritarian Governments and/or Laws that have crushed people. One of many was a program I saw back in the late 1960's and 1970's. Mostly on the old UHF. It was a made for TV movie that was a pilot for a series. It was called "Shadow on the Land". We were a police state where anything could be interpreted as against the state. And people were detained and arrested. There were freedom fighters fighting small battles in the program. The beginning of the show has the constitution being exed out as I remember. This program even with hundreds of stations is not shown on TV at all. There are many more from real nations to fictional ones as we know. But this one made me nervous when I first saw it and I was a young teenager.
