Maybe, but you are just looking at it from your point of view because you probably trust the vaccines. But what if you didn't? Your choices would be get the vaccine and keep your job, or don't get it and try to get another job in a country that has a 6.5% unemployment rate.

No, there is no conspiracy here. But you can't blame some people for having reservations about taking it. I'm on the fence myself and I have a cousin who was the supervisor of her medical lab. She even worked with Dr. Fauci in the past so she's pretty much up there. She told me it was completely safe and I'm still not sure; not that I don't trust her. She's the most brilliant family member we have.

Now, she's not making a stink about it, but the point is she was forced to get it whether she wanted it or not.

Losing your job isn't getting shot. That's a false comparison, one that usually the socialists are making. Outside of specific contractual obligations, employment is "at will". Meaning either party can terminate the arrangement at will, with no need to provide justification. If your employer demands that you get the vaccine, and then fires you if you don't - how is that any different than an employee demanding a raise (or making any other demands), and then quitting if they don't get it?

Not good, right? The recommendation is for adolescents to get the vaccine in their early to mid teens before they're sexually active. Who could possibly be against that, right? But guess what? As hard as it was for me to believe at the time, religious conservatives actually were against it. Why? Because in their minds, the HPV vaccine amounted to what they considered to essentially be a license for their children to engage in premarital sex in later years because they would now know that they would no longer need to fear contracting those kinds of cancer.
