It’s unfortunate that live coverage of President Trump receiving what AP calls “adulation from a massive, colorful crowd” of 125,000 took place during the wee hours of the morning for most Americans. But the consequences of his roughly 36 hours in India will be long lasting and important. He is about to retire for the night in New Delhi after the enormous rally in Ahmedabad, the economically advanced capital of the state Gujarat, Prime Minister Modi's home turf, and a quick visit to the Taj Mahal.However personally gratifying it may have been to equal the overseas crowds Barack Obama was able to draw in Berlin, giving the lie to media claims that Trump is hated overseas, this visit has some very serious goals that are being accomplished. It appears that foreign governments are and do accept president Trump as the dully elected president of the U.S.A. In fact greater than Obama had in Germany or elsewhere. At least he hasn't presented heads of states with CD players that don't work.
The fact is that despite all the biased disinformation from the LSM. He's reduced them to being a world wide embarrassment.
Despite what the LSM claims, there's a large group of East Indian migrants within America and their votes count too.

Notably the majority of East Indian emigrants are STEM disciplined, especially the Brahmin classes.​

I guess people forget that Bobby Jindal and Nikki Haley are Indian Americans and both Republicans.
By visiting India, Trump is updating and solidifying both military, Economic alliances with this country meaning that every little bit helps when talking about Asia and thwarting Chinese global aggression/expansion.
