Trump's "Standing Order" for Declassification: Complete Bullshit

Because experience (the Big Lie) tells him he can say anything, no matter how obvious a lie it is, and The Following will believe him.

The funny thing is, TDS folks don’t even realize they are the sheeple. The politicians know they can say anything anti-Trump and anti-Republican and you folks with believe it. It years of brainwashing and indoctrination finally coming to fruition for these power hungry politicians.

There's another example of turning reality on its head. You folks believe the Big Lie. You believe Trump had the right to possess classified documents. You believe his extortion of Zelensky was a perfect conversation. You believe his attempted coup was a bunch of tourists who got a little out of hand. You are disconnected from reality.

has ANY member of the Admin claimed they had ever heard of it?
The bullshit was the raid on Trump's property.

Biden using the government to intimidate his political opposition is treason. The filthy Justice Department and FBI going along with the treason is a violation of their oath to protect the Constitution from domestic enemies.

Russia, peegate, leading an insurrection, Trump said white supremicists are good people etc, etc, etc. You guys are fools and will believe anything you are told by the MSM.

To your specific examples, this past election was abnormal. The rules were changed in Democrats favor under the premise that COVID was an issue. Democrats want to keep these rules in place and don’t want voter id. Go figure.

The conversation with Zelensky was not a quid pro quo. There was no, you do this or I won’t do this. ”Do me a favor” doesn’t qualify. BTW, that “favor” was to try to uncover the rather obvious corruption of Hunter Biden in Ukraine. Papa Biden said many times he had no knowledge of Hunter’s business dealings or associates and yet numerous pictures of him with them have surfaced. Yeah, you guys are dupes.

Jan. 6th was a protest that got out of hand. To think the plan was to overthrow the US government with no weapons takes a special kind of stupid. Not only that, once they got in to the Capitol building, they didn’t burn and loot, you know, as most would do during an actual insurrection attempt. You have been brainwashed.

You are the one disconnected from reality. Much like N. Koreans, your indoctrination, likely from school and the MSM, won’t allow you to see it.

If you're this crazy...the Dem Party doesn't want you back.

Get help and we'll talk

THAT was some crazy ass shit there honey
Ok, whatever you say. How unkind and hateful. Seems rather misogynistic. How long have you hated women?

Gee, how come the only person who knows Trump declassified this stuff is Trump?

From what I understand Trump could have simply mentioned it somewhere along the line and from then on it was so.

CNN would better serve the public to take a deep dive into the unprecedented and boundless declassification powers that a POTUS has.....Really, a mere mention is all it takes.
So who went thru all the documents that Trump returned before this warrant to see what was classified & what wasen't? Think he did it? And who did he task with possibly having access to TOP SECRET documents that were in those boxes? Hmmmm?

I'm sure that the FBI & DOJ would like to know.

When, ahhem: "democrats" (I use the name loosely) keep repeating the same old same ol scam: TRUMP did STUFF. They can't prove it, but a single democrat allegation is worth two birds in the bush. So far, in six years, these Democrat creeps have spent buku $ on trying to prove demonizing Trump/and his constituency instead of just running the country. What does that say about their motives? It's just so stupid its beyond words. THIS is what Liberal Democrats DO.

Exactly. They may hate it but that's the constitution. Or do they hate it because it's the constitution?

An even deeper dive is needed into why the government of a democratic republic gets away with classifying and hiding such an excessive amount of information.

FBI and DOJ "don't talk about ongoing investigations." (Or closed investigations that might potentially someday be related to a possible future investigation) Yet they leak like a sieve information, true or false, that benefits This or that political group.

They can never be held accountable because the leaks come from "sources" and no one admits or even denies being the source because - you guessed it - possible investigation.

Oh, let's see what NPR and Politifact said back in 2017, shall we?

NPR:
WITTES: Well, so the president controls classified information. The - almost the definition of classified information is material the president wants to protect. So if the president wants to disclose it, he gets to disclose it. And disclosures that would be a very serious crime if anyone else did them are almost certainly not if the president does them. So, you know, if the question is, is there a criminal problem here, the answer is almost certainly not.

The President is the head of the Executive Branch. As such, he is the utmost authority on classification of documents.

Yes, trump revealed classified top secret signet information to the Russians who visited him in the oval office, exposing information given to us in secret, by an ally ...a foreign government, and everyone WAS SHOCKED!!!

We have never had a President do that, without checking with the agency that classified it top secret, so to make certain it did not give away our spies and allies gathering the information....putting them in danger.

It was written off to trump being new, and not knowing any better.

Jim, the law states the presidential records are ours, not Trumps, but he does have the power over the records on who gets to see them before the 5 year mark, unless they are needed for an investigation or another need....by the residing president, or the doj or congress if there is a need or an investigative need..

As far as top secrets by the case load, trump can not wave a wand declassifying them all in a lump sum.

He has to reclassify one document at a time, and he HAS TO TELL SOMEONE so each individual document can be MARKED declassified in our govt systems....everyone in the govt working with these top secret documents need to know they've been declassified, and the procedures require Trumps signature for each document he declassified.

Yes he can declassify, but he also has to do so with caution, to protect us and our human resources out there, gathering the info.

From my understanding, trump had all of his Whitehouse presidential records boxed up and sent to his white house residence, and then to his Mara lago resort.

When did he reclassify the documents to unclassified? Did he TELL anyone? Who? Did he have their classified status changed, with his signature and date of when declassified?

Without such, the documents remain classified.

Oh, and it was not until the raid, did we hear about his claim that all of the presidential records he took with him, were automatically declassified when he sent them to his residence.

Trump NEVER claimed he declassified them all with the National Archives trying to get all of the records back, that he took. Why didn't he?

But please note!

The search probable cause crimes, did not involve his presidential records....the three alleged crimes have to do with above top secret documents with national security risks that he illegally took with him.....

CNN - the neo-Nazis' favorite source.

Where in the constitution did it give him this sole power??? What part?

Ah, CNN…Digging up Kelly, and Mulveney along with a bunch of un named, made up bullshit…two disgruntled hacks, and you buy it like a fat kid pressing up against the ice cream counter.

You'll have to ask the Supreme Court. Here's how they explained it:

The President, after all, is the "Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States." U.S. Const., Art. II, 2. His authority to classify and control access to information bearing on national security and to determine whether an individual is sufficiently trustworthy to occupy a position in the Executive Branch that will give that person access to such information flows primarily from this constitutional investment of power in the President and exists quite apart from any explicit congressional grant. See Cafeteria Workers v. McElroy, 367 U.S. 886, 890 (1961). This Court has recognized the Government's "compelling interest" in withholding national security information from unauthorized persons in the course of executive business. Snepp v. United States, 444 U.S. 507, 509 , n. 3 (1980). See also United States v. Robel, 389 U.S. 258, 267 (1967); United States v. Reynolds, 345 U.S. 1, 10 (1953); Totten v. United States, 92 U.S. 105, 106 (1876). The authority to protect such information falls on the President as head of the Executive Branch and as Commander in Chief.
