Take Nixon. Pretty rotten guy, but when the time came that he had to leave office, he left office quietly. Nobody is expecting that with Trump. He doesn’t act like a human being. He’s off somewhere else. He doesn’t even make appointments that can be confirmed by the Senate. Why bother? I don’t like somebody, I’ll throw them out. One Republican, Murkowski, dares to raise a small question about his nobility, and he came down on her with a ton of bricks...I’m going to destroy you.

So you write an inflammatory title with no backup and then site a left wing article about a man who is interested in loosening the federal govt. hold on 3/4 of the land in western states. Slow day on USMB BR?
slow day? are you watching the news? tomorrow Bolton will have an interview on MSDNC and CNN at the SAME TIME

a lot going on

A criminal when NO charges are levied against him over it?

The Feds owns too much land, they can't even maintain their Federal parks in full, since it cost so much for maintenance.

The land belongs to the states and to the citizens.

when Trump thinks of climate change, the only thing he can muster is "hoax" and "costs money"

when i think of it, i think of "jobs" and "saved planet"

You ignored my Post 7 opinion completely, how come?

From YOUR article (a sloppy hit piece) is this revealing statement that actually begs for someone like him to change. Federal government isn't supposed to own any of it, it belongs to the states and to the people.

"President Donald Trump will formally nominate William Perry Pendley, a self-proclaimed “sagebrush rebel” with extreme anti-environmental views and a long history of advocating for the sale of federal lands in the West, to serve as director of the Bureau of Land Management.

Pendley was tapped last July for a senior policy position at BLM, an agency of the Department of the Interior, and quickly elevated to acting chief. The backdoor appointment put him in charge of overseeing 245 million acres of public land — more than 10% of the entire U.S. landmass — and 700 million subsurface mineral acres. It also enraged environmentalists and sparked fears of a public lands sell-off. "
