I have no problem with DNA setting free innocent people, who were falsely charge for such minor things as smoking pot as Camel Toe Harris did. But i just cannot allow some murderous prog a chance to escape or be pardoned so he can kill again...I believe in the eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. The logical fallacy here is your attempting to insist upon a false premise. It is the taking of innocent life that is wrong.

There is no logical fallacy. Your position is that taking an innocent life is wrong. My position is that taking any life is wrong. But even if we work with your position, innocent people have been executed, and innocent people have been on death row and been released. Obviously, if you really did support your position, that taking innocent life is wrong, you would be opposed to a system that results in an innocent life being taken from time to time. Not really sure what the cost of that prevention is. Life in prison removes the guilty person from society, as does executing them. So the only real loss of eliminating capital punishment is the loss of that blood lust. The gain is that no "innocent lives" will be mistakenly lost due to an inefficient criminal justice system.

I know you think you have created a great argument. So let's run with it. Lets suppose there suddenly is a problem with infanticide in this country. For whatever reason, mothers are killing their babies. If you are sitting there going, "I don't think mothers should kill their babies", and you don't do a damn thing about it, rather it be volunteer at a local daycare, donate money or time to child services, engage with your neighbors who are young mothers, then you ain't done JACK SHIT. To be honest, complaining about something and refusing to do a damn thing about it is just as bad, if not worse, than whatever you are complaining about.

And that is kind of the point. Pro-life people who don't do shit, well that is what they and their opinion is worth, shit.
