The Trump campaign raised over $1 million in the 24 hours after the release of the Mueller report on Thursday.

A text message blast to supporters from the Trump campaign on Friday afternoon said the campaign had hit its goal.

“Sorry Trump haters. The biggest waste of money witch hunt in history is finally over,” the text said. “The attacks and lies will keep coming heading into 2020. That’s why we need to fight back bigger and stronger than ever before.”

The campaign has been successful in the hunt for funds as it gears up for the 2020 presidential election, alongside its ambitious attempts to secure key seats in the House and protect the Republican Senate majority. According to the latest Federal Election Commission filings, the Trump campaign raised more than $30 million in the first quarter of the yea

r with $40 million cash on hand.
