Trump says the UK's coronavirus plan for 'herd immunity' would have been 'catastrophic' and caused 'a lot of death'
Trump said that Boris Johnson's initial plan to allow the coronavirus to spread in order to create "herd immunity" would have been "catastrophic."

"Speaking at a White House press conference, Mr Trump said: "A lot of people were saying: 'Let's just ride it out -- 'This is not to be ridden out because then you would have been looking at potentially 2.2 million [deaths] or more… in a relatively short period of time -- All of sudden they [United Kingdom] went hard the other way because they started seeing things that weren't good. They put themselves in a little bit of a problem."
Trump totally owned Boris on his botched response to the virus hitting England......but what he also did was expose what the Dems were ultimately planning when they unleashed this Chinese virus on the country......
When Trump was talking about how people were saying "Let's ride this out" -- he was talking about all of the people who just wanted to carry on with business as usual and not take any drastic precautionary measures -- in other words, he was calling out the Dems....they are the ones who urged not stopping the economy, just letting the country get the virus and then developing some goofy herd immunity because of how mild the virus is....WTF??
Luckily Trump put a total stop to it.....if he hadn't, millions of people could have died -- directly contradicting the Dems -- who were claiming only a 1000 or so would die due to herd immunity kicking in....
