Trump made an ass of himself once again.

Trump paints himself as the real victim of Charlottesville in angry speech
<excerpt>
At a rally in Phoenix, evocative of his populist election campaign, the US president attacked coverage of his response to the white supremacist violence and complained bitterly to his audience about how he had been treated.

He re-read three statements he made in the wake of the tragedy and, deploying authoritarian rhetoric, declared: “It’s time to expose the crooked media deceptions and to challenge the media for their role in fomenting divisions and yes, by the way, they are trying to take away our history and our heritage.” The crowd – some scowling, some laughing – turned and jeered at journalists in the media enclosure and chanted: “CNN sucks! CNN sucks!”

Meh, I think he's right and I was glad to hear it personally. I've been bitching about the media pushing division of this nation for years.

Only ass is the lamestream media who couldn't say that both sides who wore body armor and masks were bad. CNN Sucks, liberalism sucks, you suck, get it.

He spends all this time rehashing a campaign, yet puts very little effort into pushing legislation....
Are you talking about Obama again, the only president who after 4 guys died in Benghazi, took a campaign trip to Nevada, to raise cash for his campaign. Yes, you must be talking about Obama.

Did you see the rally? He pushed for getting rid of the 60 vote requirement in the Senate, changing it to simple majority "or the Republicans will never get anything done."
This man has no more understanding of government or respect for its arrangement than a chipmunk.

Dead right. Chanting 'Jews will not replace us' and 'Blood and soil' while carrying torches is normal American behaviour. After all you have a grand tradition of night time torch light events. The 'media' is wrong to regard fascist marchers charging standing groups of older protesters as worse behaviour than being charged by fascists.

A speech for the ages. You can gauge the level of truth in his speeches,by the level of howling, and the extent of the tantrums displayed by the left, and their collaborative media.

The rallies are there to foister his ego, nothing more...

The rallies are getting ready for 2018 and 2020 - it's called planning and I have a feeling it will work beautifully.

While the dem's resist, obstruct, and whine Trump and the rep's are riding the train.

Hmm. Has the supermajority requirement always been there? No. A recent development.

The Democrats are self-destructing. I say kill the requirement for all votes, bulldoze the Democrats, ram through the policies campaigned for and then go after them hard and fast, and their media too. Considering recent Democrat behavior, I would not be surprised to see their viability as a party disintegrate before the 2018 midterms.

Of late they sound like gibbering lunatics. They have truly become the modern brownshirts.

What legislation do you want? Don't we have enough laws? Are you just parroting the media narrative?

Anyway, I think this guy does a better job than Trump of painting himself as a whiny victim...

I don't agree with the damage that was already done but it has to STOP. Most legislation still requires some buy in from both Dems and Repubs and that is the way it is designed to perform. So figure out a way to get some on board.

No party deserves the right to rule autonomously. It will put us on a never ending path of legislation being enacted and then destroyed the next time the other party gets a majority. It is not practical in the long run. And 60% is no supermajority and it is not recent.

Sounds like he was talking about the media coverage of the aftermath of the event, not the event itsel...

OH WAIT, I see, you were just lying to smear Trump.

It AMAZES me that you lefties can be so sure that Trump is stupid and bad and ect,

yet somehow know that you have to lie in order to attack him.

HOW CAN YOU THINK LIKE THAT, AND NOT STARVE TO DEATH BECAUSE YOU FORGET WHAT FOOD IS?
