Trump Must Be Removed....NOW!

Remember what yesterday’s attempted coup at the U.S. Capitol was like. Very soon, someone might try to convince you that it was different. Maybe someone already has.

This has been a leitmotif of the Trump administration: Donald Trump does something outrageous and inappropriate, maybe even illegal. Immediately, there are horrified reactions from across the political spectrum, but pretty quickly, the anger fades. Republican officials test the political winds and decide to keep their heads down. Maybe they even say that what Trump did was just fine. Democratic officials rage but shrug and say there’s just not much they can do.

Don’t let the events of January 6 get memory-holed or excused in the same way. The health of the republic depends both on what swift consequences come—for Trump and for others—and also on how people remember the participants’ actions later on.

As horrifying as the insurrection was, the immediate response was heartening. Republicans who have consistently criticized Trump, such as Senator Mitt Romney and Representative Adam Kinzinger, were quick to pin responsibility on the president. But so were others who are usually more quiescent, like Senator Richard Burr. Several outlets reported that Cabinet-level officials were discussing the prospect of using the Twenty-Fifth Amendment to remove Trump from office. A handful of administration officials resigned. Some Democrats announced plans to introduce articles of impeachment right away, and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said that Congress should impeach Trump if Vice President Pence and others don’t invoke the Twenty-Fifth Amendment.

But already, the moment to act could be slipping away. After all, Congress certified Joe Biden as president-elect early this morning. Trump even issued a statement—through aide Dan Scavino on Twitter, after the president’s own account was locked—promising “an orderly transition on January 20th.” There are whispers of more resignations, but so far, few prominent officials have stepped down. (The most notable to do so are Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao; the first lady’s chief of staff, Stephanie Grisham; and Mick Mulvaney, an envoy to Northern Ireland who formerly served as acting White House chief of staff.) We’ve heard rumblings about the Twenty-Fifth Amendment before, and they’ve never resulted in anything.

As I wrote earlier this week, even before violence erupted, the Senate’s failure to convict Trump and remove him from office after his impeachment last year paved the way for the president to try to overturn the 2020 election. If the nation moves on without punishing Trump, he will have two more weeks to act with impunity.

Nothing indicates that Trump is chastened by yesterday’s experience. He published both a video and a tweet yesterday in which he called on the mob to go home peacefully, but he did not condemn its actions, and he repeated the incitements that drove it to riot in the first place. Even his faux–concession statement falls well short. Its mention of a “first term” leaves space for him to continue to contest the race, and besides, we’re past the point of an “orderly transition.” A Trump-incited violent insurrection swept through the Capitol less than 24 hours ago!

Meanwhile, the least scrupulous Trump allies, like Representatives Matt Gaetz and Mo Brooks, are already trying to shift the blame for the riot, claiming that it was the work of left-wing provocateurs. This is preposterous—as the journalist Molly Ball points out, “Trump literally summoned these people to DC, spoke at their event, offered to walk them over to the Capitol and then praised them afterward.”

Trump is the greatest President of modern times. Maybe the best President in the history of the Republic.

He had a unselfish non self serving agenda to make this county great again after 28 years of disastrous RINO and Democrat leadership. He was working to undo all the damage by the Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama Liberal administrations. Damage that sapped the wealth and liberty of this country. Allowed welfare queens, foreign countries and Illegals to hurt us.

The Swamp and greedy special interest groups didn't like that and orchstrated a campaign of hate and disinformation against him. Even attempting a coup and filthy partisan impeachment.

Then the Communist Party USA stole an election from the American people and real American Partiots got pissed and that is a good thing.

Trump was the last great hope for America. Now that the Republicans have bent the knee to their Communists masters then nothing is left but for America to slide into being a soulless dismal Socialist shithole like many other countries in the world.

The Communists have won. Not only with corruption but by brain washing the Useful idiots that are too weak and stupid to understand they are being fucked.

It is an old story that we have seen played out in other countries and it always end badly.
The communists stormed the capital on Wednesday.

All this bullshit about Trump and the American Patriots we are hearing from the Communist Party USA and from the fake media is nothing more than a smoke screen to cover up the fact that the Communist Party USA stole the election from the American people.

Useful Idiots parrot this kind of hate towards Americans all the time. Chairman China Joe thanks you.

America only has 13 days of Liberty left thanks to the Useful Idiots.

Then the Communist Party USA takes over thanks to the Useful Idiots.

Then China's boy is in the White House thanks to the Useful Idiots.

The Useful Idiots are morons, aren't they?

They screw up the greatest country on earth for their greed to get somebody else to pay their bills.

Morally deficient assholes, aren't they?

Crazy talk.

It was very impressive, but that was not on Trump, that was Americans taking our country back.

Trump addresses a crowd (mob), tells them a bunch of lies and then points them at the Capital.

They storm the building...

Lets put in a different way...
If a black community leader had a rally after a shooting and pointed at the local police station and said they were totally at fault. They wanted to murder him (lie). They plotted to kill him and they are getting away with it(lie). They are going to kill all of you next (lie).
Then the mob attacks the police station assaulting a police officer and causing major property damage. A member of the mob was shot dead in defence of the police station.
Would you expect that black community leader to be arrested?
Wow, that analogy just sounded like Portland......Except the police were told to stand down and surrender the building....

While there was speeches in Portland, the level of dishonesty by Trump was way higher... I mean way higher...

Speeches were given in Portland, they also specifically expressed at being non violent, they clearly rejected violence. Also logistically they didn't raise a mob and then that mob went and attacked a building. In Portland the violence was popping up sporadically around the city, it was unorganised.
Trump organised this rally, he promoted it, he spoke at it and very specifically that particular turned and attacked the capital as the same group. He told them he was coming with them(he didn't).

Then there is also Trump is the President, if a person spoke the same language as Trump in in Portland, I wouldn't want them to be President.

Sedition and insurrection done by the president, specifically yesterday, are enough to disqualify trump immediately. Mike Pence can serve the next 2 two weeks.

Story by Yoni Appelbaum
JANUARY 6, 2021

The president of the united states summoned his supporters to Washington, D.C., today, and then stood in front of the White House and lied to them, insisting that he had won the election and that extraordinary measures were necessary to vindicate his win. They took his message to heart, marching up the National Mall toward Capitol Hill. Breaking through barricades and police lines, Confederate battle flags dotting the crowd, the insurrectionists seized control of the United States Capitol, putting Congress to flight.

Four years ago, Donald Trump swore to faithfully execute the office of president of the United States and, to the best of his ability, to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. He lost little time in breaking that oath. On December 18, 2019, the House of Representatives reluctantly and belatedly performed its constitutional duty, impeaching the president for abusing his power and obstructing Congress. The Senate refused to similarly perform its own constitutional duty, declining to take up the charges in earnest and failing to muster the requisite two-thirds majority for removal. Only a single Republican, Senator Mitt Romney, acknowledged the obvious truth of the charges, voting to remove the president from office.

Trump has today broken his oath in even more spectacular fashion. The seeds sown by Republican obeisance and congressional quiescence have now yielded their bitter harvest. With his incitement of a direct assault on the people’s house, the president has forfeited his claim to finish his term. The House must again impeach him, and the Senate must vote to remove him. And as it does so, it must bar him from ever again serving in public office.

The Atlantic
You people are "useful idiots" for some dark force that is having a good run lately.
What did Trump do that was so impeachable the first time?
Did he destroy an illegal server? Or maybe create a fake dossier on his opponent and get an illegal spying warrant?

While I am extremely left wing and anti Trump, the occupation of Congress was the most democratic and encouraging thing I ever saw happen in the US.
Congress is not at all democratic or honest.
It constantly is lying to us, like about WMD in Iraq, and committing crimes against us, like the War on Drugs, 3 Strikes, federal gun control, etc.
Congress is totally out of control and is illegally preventing decent and free elections.
If this really were a democratic republic, there are millions of candidates better than Trump and Biden.
The election process could not be more corrupt.
It is all only about money.
There are lots of ways to fix it, such as no primaries, a single open election, public campaign funding only, ranked voting so there is no need for a run off, etc.
What we have in the US is the single most corrupt system possible.
And everyone should be furious at congress for deliberately creating this horrific mess.

If many were Antifa you are right. If there are real Christians involved, that is not possible. Just like Biden and Pelosi are fraud Catholics. The Prog party is anti Christian.

The Communists think Trump's "high crimes and misdemeanors" are what he has done to make America great again and undo some of the damage done by Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama.

America was starting to be such a soulless dismal Socialist shithole like the Moon Bats wanted and here comes Trump to mess everything up.

Hang the sonofabitch. Communism must prevail.

Trump is a clear and present danger.

Pence's career is in ruins. He has nothing to lose by doing the honorable thing now.

He has nothing to gain.

BTW, didn't Biden indicate that he wanted to rule in a Bipartisan way? Shouldn't he be looking for Republicans to serve in high positions? Moderates like Pence?
Biden has a great opportunity to bring down the intensity by doing that. Naturally, he won't.

While I sympathize with the desire and need to occupy congress in order to get it to notice the people for once, you destroy your point of view by misusing the word "communism".
Communism means local cooperative, collaborative, and communal social and economic functions.
'Which is really, really good.
What you actually are talking about is not communism, but centralized dictatorship, which is always profit driven by a wealthy elite, so is always capitalist. Stalin for example, was state capitalism. There was nothing communal, cooperative, or collaborative about Stalin's regime. It was out for profits to the wealthy elite.
So call it something else, like statism, dictatorship, fascism, plutocracy, etc.
It is NOT communism in any way.
