It all started when someone at the Capitol Building wanted to get the Visitors Center up and running again but could not because a dozen or so guardsmen were using it. They asked the unit commander if he could put them somewhere else. HE IS THE ONE who decided they would use the garage for their breaks..naturally the next day the right wing media screamed..BIDEN ORDERS TROOPS OUT OF CAPITOL BUILDING INTO COLD GARAGE!!Fact checking shows that the orders for the Guardsmen was given by a low level officer who didn’t even have the authority to do so.

No, it didn't happen. Trumps hotel offered to let DC POLICE OFFICERS, not NG rest in his hotel. In the tweet that was sent out by the hotel, it was addressed to the DC police, not the troops.
