The DOJ already said that Trump's speech was not illegal in any way.
So the democrats are pushing a bad impeachment, and it won't mean anything after Trump is acquitted.
I'm hoping that the trial lasts a month or two tying up the senate.

Too radical for me, to like being in that office and definitely leaned too far right. When even the military turned him down on use of troops in country, he had DHS constitute a force of concealed ID uniformed troops from various federal agencies and put them on the streets without consulting governors. The did not just protect fed buildings in riot areas, but drove unmarked car blocks away to jump out with masks and M-4s to snatch people off the street, in a terrorism intimidation tactics dry run, zip tying and putting bags over their heads and driving them around only to release on foot miles away without charges, or records of the apprehensions. I am pretty glad the guy is gone.
