Trump hatred.

It is sad but many in the country would vote for a rock rather than Donald Trump. They have been programmed by the state to do what they are told. They are told that Trump is bad and they react in a conditioned response like Pavlov's dogs. Hate is not a good emotion to follow to bring about a change of government. Hate is so strong that minds cannot be reached. It is a national sickness. I hope we can survive this because we will never be free of government oppression if we do not act to stop it.
See, what you misunderstand is that hating Trump has more to do than with policy. It’s more because he’s a stupid, corrupt, whiny little bitch.

You prove what a lie that is every time you attack Trump for both sides of an issue at the same time. Like blaming him for the economic impact of the lockdown while attacking him for the lockdown and attacking Trump when he tells States what to do and attacking him again when he doesn't
Huh?

So why do you want to do to your kids the same shitty government education that you got?

You don't understand the difference between repudiating a single individual because of his/her ideas, actions, and policies and hating a person or people just because they are different. This trump earned the "hate" directed at him. It is not a matter of the people who rejected him being "programmed" somehow to hate him or having a mental problem. Look at all the people who love trump no matter what he does, showing their complete lack of moral compass and discernment. Many of the trumpsters actually believe that the Supreme Being sent trump. Talk about programming.
A group pathology like this country has never seen, and one the world hasn't seen for 80, 90 years.

Did you ever think we would see this here?

No. I never did. It's absolutely stunning. My dear late father taught me never to believe everything I hear and to back off if something wasn't right. Maintain reasonable skepticism, think about what you're hearing, as ask a lot of questions. Later, Bob Dylan wrote "don't follow leaders, watch your parking meters." Even later, Kenny Rodgers sang "know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run." It is horrifying to find so many people so gullible and easily led.

I will always ask the questions: how did you arrive at your conclusions, and where are we going with this? Can you provide documentation or are you just blowing it out of your ass?

In 1985 Bruce Springsteen looked out as his audience and spoke the following very wise words. It was very true in the reagan years. It's even more true today.

"When we grew up in the 60's, we grew up with a war on TV every night. A war your friends were involved in. I want to do this song for all the young people out there. You're in your teens. I remember a lot of my friends when we were 17 or 18. We didn't have much of a chance to think about how we felt about a lot of things. The next time they are going to be looking at you. You need a lot of information to know what you're going to wanna do because in 1985, blind faith in your leaders or anything WILL GET YOU KILLED."

I grew up with the Vietnam war on TV every night while I tried to eat my dinner. I didn't support it and I protested it in the 70s when I was a teenager.

What Bruce warned of did happen. Again. Afghanistan, Iraq, the Middle East.

Today our war is with an unseen adversary, a virus. We can't see it. We can only fight it but today, we have a leader who isn't fighting it. He has millions of blind followers who are contracting that virus and spreading it all over their communities. Hundreds of thousands have died in less than a year.

My favorite aunt was one of them.

Just this morning, I learned of a friend who has been fighting the virus has lost the fight. He took his last breath at 11:46 am yesterday. His daughters weren't able to be with him through his fight. His daughters will have to carry on without him.

There are literally over 200 thousand families and friends mourning loved ones and our president doesn't give a rat's ass. A president who lied through his teeth about the virus and barely did anything to protect our nation and people. A president who's actions only tell me that he wants to spread that virus to as many people as possible but protects only himself. A president who only cares about himself.

And the OP has the disgusting nerve to ask why people hate trump.

Wow.

I'm so sorry that you have lost so much in this pandemic just because some politicians like to spread ignorance. I know what losing a favorite aunt is like because it happened to me, but it was from a silent medical condition that caused her to drop dead on a hike in Germany, without even a warning, or if she had one, she never told anybody. One of her tours was to Vietnam, where she nursed wounded U.S. soldiers. She told me once about having to talk a 19-year-old soldier into living, after he walked into a booby trap and lost all his physical parts that would have enabled him to marry and have a family.

Springsteen, in addition to being an incredibly talented songwriter and guitarist, has always told the truth. Your post reminded me of some great, and very long concerts, when the lights would dim and he would talk to the audience.

Wishing you peace and good memories to carry you through.

I'm so sorry about your aunt. It sucks to lose someone so important in your life so abruptly. It's just not fair.

Yes Springsteen is a wise man and has always told the truth in his songs. I've been a fan since the 70s. I've seen many of his concerts and covered a couple as a photographer. His management is fantastic.

I wish we had such wise people in our government.

Everyone should have a favorite aunt. In my case, it was so good to have a Second Mother who was a disciplined USAF officer, as my mother was a sort of crazy bird who never could get off the ground, much less lead the flock. My aunt taught me how things were in the real world, and many of our conversations ended with "don't tell your mother."

I, too, have been a fan of Springsteen since the 70s. Not only did I have a crush on him, he always was someone I wanted to actually talk to and dig through his mind. Where did stuff like "Jungleland" and "New York City Serenade" come from? "Darkness on the Edge of Town" was there to inspire me to keep going when I was working all day and going to night school. There are certain parallels in our lives and personalities that perhaps gave me a feeling of kinship. One of my favorite pictures of him was one taken standing outside the Cafe Wha?, as he was maybe 16 and he looked so serious and resolute. I grew up in North Jersey, and the majority of the rare good times I had with my mother was her taking me to the art shows in the Village and then we'd go exploring. This was about the same time as that photo was taken.

I could go on, but I think you hit it: he has wisdom, and I, too, wish we had wise people in our government.

LOL, Lysistrata the airhead "disagrees." Obviously you're not paying attention, my dear.

First of all there's the two of you whore hounding death. Dana shared something that should have been presented non-partisan and she's have gotten sympathy. But she decided to exploit a death and use it to be a hateful bitch about it.

It's the way you roll. Literally everything is political for you idiots.

Conservatives / libertarians both have a life outside politics. And you keep ramming it in our face with entertainment, sports, social media, everything

'cause I've seen donny in action for 40 years. he's a vile person in every sense.

that's why.
You've seen him? Really?
You realize over the last 20 years nearly 2 billion people have seen or heard Trump? YET you've seen him in ACTION for 40 years?
Also please define what a "vile" person does to qualify being "vile" in every sense? Exactly WHAT do you mean?

I've seen him IN ACTION being who he is thru interviews on TV, in print, & hearing him on Howard stern several times - let me tell you how enlightening THAT was - one time, he was bloviating about how he would walk right into the dressing rooms unannounced for the 15 & 16 yr old contestants competing in his beauty pageant, while they were in various stages of undress - & 'line them up so he could inspect them '

anyhoo - not everyone knows who & what donny is - only the gold plated facade thru bullshit fluff pieces that would show what a big successful biznez man he is…. or worse - the fake reality show he had.

ummmm….. vile? imnsho…. whoring around NYC with his whore marla & making sure it was splashed all over the tabloids, knowing it was gonna be shoved in his still married to wife & 3 young spawn's faces…then there was the time he took them both on an aspen ski vacation & bragged how he enjoyed watching the cat fight when they both crossed paths with each other. or when he buffed a porn star, without protection, whilst his 3rd trophy wife/baby mama had just given birth to his 5th spawn; putting them both at risk for all kinds nasty STDs. lol… donny said that ' STDs were his Vietnam '

then there the case where he tried to steal an old woman's home & property thru eminent domain so he can bulldoze it & pave a brand new parking lot for one of his bankrupted casinos.

he lost.

hey! how's about the fact that he was also sued for fraud - ripping people off for tuition cash at his fake university?

& also that there 'charitable' foundation of his, having to close because donny used it as his own piggy bank? yaaaaaa….. & his first 3 spawn had to take classes on how to actually run a foundation - ut are now not legally able to sit on ANY charity board in the state of NY again.

now those were going right to mind, & there are more - but I think that will do in proving just how vile donny is.

One-Hundred-Twenty-Five Amazing Accomplishments of President Donald J. Trump
  1. Trump recently signed three bills to benefit Native people. One gives compensation to the Spokane tribe for loss of their lands in the mid-1900s, one funds Native language programs, and the third gives federal recognition to the Little Shell Tribe of Chippewa Indians in Montana.
  2. Trump finalized the creation of Space Force as our 6th Military branch.

What he proved is you are a Voyeur who gets thrills vicariously out of watching! Now here are FACTS not subjective voyeuristic, panting interpretations.
