We knew of his character, or actually lack, there of. This book and the interviews on tape are more about further proof of his bad judgement. It is not as if he didn't know, he was sitting down with a 2 time Pulitzer Prize winning writer/reporter known for getting the inside story on a crooked president. Presidential judgement or managerial judgement doesn't get any worse than that, from a public relations standpoint. He knew he had to pay off his whores, to keep them quiet before the last election, how dumb do you have to be to fess up on tape with somebody like Bob Woodward in the same year you are facing another election.

The information Trump was given was that covid-19 only killed about 30,000 a month, which IS essentially true.
So then why have 200,000 died?
Because instead of like seasonal flu that we achieve herd immunity over, we instead followed the awful advice of the CDC, and went with social distancing, flattening the curve, and masks.
Those prevented herd immunity, stretched out the duration of the epidemic, and vastly increased the death total.
If instead we had gone with herd immunity, then it would have been over in March, and 150,000 would have been saved.
So you can't blame Trump.

Sure it is terrorism when you use secret methods like car bombs to protect your homeland. Why else would they call the Palestinians "terrorists"?
