Trump Approval Rating Plummeting at a Record Rate

He's done. Politically, legally, financially. His name is shit. He once had a shot to build a media empire. Now, outside of his willing sheep, there will be no one to give him money or a platform. Like the response to the virus, I can't see another way that Trump could have fucked things up worse than he did.
But the border wall!
Trump did more for black people than any other president including Lincoln
And I should be feeling what at this point in time?
Trump made your healthcare more affordable. He raised wages so much people people still couldn’t get by 2 months without paychecks. He raised growth from 2.2% to 2.3%. He stopped 1000 mexicans from getting in with his expensive wall. He pissed off muslims by taking out an Iranian general, for you. Bin Ladin no biggy though. He stopped Obama’s illegal wars and started his own, for you. You’re welcome.

What should you feel? Gratitude

Don't know what alternate university this was posted from but my healthcare went up and so did my taxes. And my porfolio went the other direction.

Course, I live in the Real World so maybe that explains it.
How did your taxes go up when they were lowered?
Corporations saw their income tax rates fall from 35% to 21%. Have you seven the debt? What about infrastructure spending? What about social security and Medicare?

I don’t think the crumbs you got were worth it.
Have I seven the debt? What about the other two? What crumbs? I directly benefitted from the cuts.
How much do you make and how many kids?
Two kids

AGI is mid six figures
Well no wonder you’re a republican.
I am an Independent. I don't belong to political parties. And Jeff Bezos is a Democrat. How does that correspond with your statement?

Bezos isn't a Democrat and is probably more independent than you are.
Is bezos for corporate tax breaks? Then he’s no democrat. Not a fiscal one. Maybe he is liberal on social issues but what matters most is fiscal.

Exactly. He's liberal on social issues but when it comes to money, he's more conservative than liberal.

And he has every right to believe our economy would work better if corporations paid zero taxes. I just disagree. I think corporations would do better but middle class worse.

More people are middle class than rich. You would think most people would agree corporations need to pay their fair share. But republicans have brainwashed middle class conservatives into voting for trickle down. Idiots

I'm neither pro nor con on Bezos, but I'm not aware he's stated an opinion on what taxes should be. Personally, I don't think corporate taxes do any good, but if they don't pay any, then their larger shareholders should pay regular income tax on any dividend or sale of stock.

Yes corporate taxes do a lot. It helps pay the debts of our nation.

It also, at least before reagan, kept greed in check. Which kept our jobs here in America. Which provided living wages to workers with proper benefits. It also kept the cost of goods and services low for the consumer. Along with too many benefits to list that keeping greed in check.

It also helped to create America as a super power.

We need to return to the tax system and rates we had before reagan.

Obviously that's not the vote total. What that is is the SWING versus 2016. How much a state went toward the Democrat (blue) or toward the Republican (red) compared to the last election. Perhaps you see a PATTERN here. Perhaps you can't. Perhaps you're mouthing the words as you read this.
Bullshit, if it “swung” more blue, then why did the Dems lose so many seats in the House?

How do you spell relief? B I D E N
...
but the auspicious accession is largely due to the blessed consignment of Trumpery to its destiny.
'Tis a consummation devoutly to be wished.

Nobody knows what you mean. I’m sure I’m not the only one. If you understand what this guy just said please give it a thumbs up. If you don’t know give thumbs down.

He's saying, Rump defeated himself, and that that flushing was both inevitable and desired.

A lot of republicans hate trump. I think trump has feuded with bezos publically. All the republicans who’ve broken from trump aren’t democrats now are they? I don’t think so.

At best Bezos is a deep state globalist rino.

That map, which apparently was too inconvenient to bear looking at so it's removed ---- is only about the Presidential vote, not the entire election. That's why it refers to single people: "the Democrat" (Biden in 2020; Clinton in 2016) and "the Republican" (Rump). Didn't think I needed to spell that out but I misunderestimated the density. Actually if you had bothered to click on the page it would have told you that too.

It does bring up an interesting side note though --- if the Democrats/Hugo Chávez/Bugs Bunny worked so hard to manipulate the Presidential vote.................................................................. how come they didn't just do the same thing downballot?

Because the premise is bullshit, that's why. This election was a repudiation of Rump, PERSONALLY ---- which is also what this thread is directly about ---- and not a repudiation of "Republicans". Hell even Tuber Pyle got his ass elected on the basis of nothing but an R after his name.

If trump won Georgia why did the two senate seats go blue?

I'd bet the house that Rump wasn't on the phone begging the GA Sec of State to "find" enough votes to overturn those two, or even one, which if it could be done would turn Senate control back over to his party.

He'd never do that ---- doesn't benefit Numero Uno. In fact he did the opposite, undermining the whole election just to pump up his "poor me I'm the victim" game about November.

Of course, Perdoodoo and Laughler helped bury themselves by staying attached to The Rump like barnacles. More evidence of how toxic he is ---- and that was before the insurrection.

The dregs of society, a few rich people, a deranged pillow salesman and Rudy are all he has left. Sad

A new Quinnipiac University poll finds that President Donald Trump's approval rating stands at 33%, while his disapproval is at 60%.

What's the point: A big question during the Trump presidency was whether anything could actually move the public opinion needle. It turns out that the insurrection at the US Capitol last week did exactly that.

The result is that Trump's final first term approval rating looks to be the lowest on record dating back since scientific polling began.

Who was the last Republican he voted for in your opinion?

Thanks

I have no idea who he voted for and I don't care. I have seen no proof that he is a Democrat.
Outstanding. You're dismissed. He owns WAPO....pretty sure that paper leans far left.
It’s only as left as he allows. Does it write articles explaining why amazon should pay more taxes? How workers are underpaid? Then it’s not fiscally liberal
How are his workers underpaid when they are paid market? Why should Amazon pay more taxes than other corporations? He is a Democrat. He is not a Socialist Idiot.
Remember, many republicans endorsed biden. So when you say republican do you mean romney republican or trump conservative? Two different things. Bezoar could have voted for biden and still be a republican.

Bezos has worked to block income tax on the wealthy. That makes him a republican.

Bezos has worked very hard to stay out of politics aside from one thing, gay marriage. Big fucking deal. He can keep gay marriage let’s get some tax money from jeff. Who gives a fuck about gay marriage except unhinged trump supporters.
He owns WAPO

He is a Democrat. Unless its a masquerade.
You got it. WAPO is owned by a corporation. It’s sensored. Not like the old days the news department didn’t answer to the advertising department
Owned by Bezos, who is a Democrat. So before you vilify me. Vilify him.
Hes not a democrat. Not fiscally which is most important to me. Social wedge issues are what we should discuss when both parties care about a strong middle class. If he is for corporations paying less taxes then he’s a conservative. I don’t care what his paper writes about gays.

This is proof the rich use social wedge issues to divide us. If not for social issues you’d have no business voting republican.

Is he for going green? Is he for healthcare for all? Is he for raising taxes on the rich? No? Then he ain’t a democrat sorry

Yes he's for going green.

He seems to support health care for all but I don't know what he thinks the solution for it is. I know he offers is employees heath care insurance on their first day of the job. You don't have to work there for a year before you get it.

No he's not for raising taxes on the rich.

He worked to defeat and succeeded to stop a state income tax that was only for the rich.

He worked and failed to get a Seattle City Counsel member voted out of office who proposed a tax on corporations according to how many people worked at the corporation.

He's liberal on social issues. He's conservative on money issues.

How boring it has become, but then again you people never took the cure for the dreaded TDS virus.

Trump is an ex-president a lame duck president. his executive power is nearly all gone........

I have no dark feeling for Biden at all, he is the President and everyone knows it, go celebrate his win, leave Trump behind......

You have BDS I can already see early Symptoms

FiveThirtyEight.com, Jan. 15

>> In the wake of the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol, public opinion is souring quickly on President Trump as he enters the final days of his term. Not only do a majority of Americans blame him for the riot at the Capitol and favor removing him from office, but his job approval rating has fallen faster in recent days than at any point in his presidency.
According to FiveThirtyEight’s approval tracker,1 39.4 percent of Americans approve of the job Trump is doing as president, while 56.3 percent disapprove (a net approval rating of -16.8 percentage points). On Jan. 6, the day of the Capitol attack, Trump’s net approval rating stood at -10.3 points, which means his net approval rating has fallen 6.5 points in just eight days. It turns out that’s the biggest drop in Trump’s net approval that our tracker has ever recorded.
To put this into perspective, there have been only two other times when Trump’s net approval rating fell by at least 5 points over an eight-day period: once in February 2017, after he issued executive orders to begin construction of a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border and to suspend the refugee program and prohibit entry for visitors from seven predominantly Muslim countries,2 and then again in March 2017, after Republicans began their legislative efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act.3
.... As Trump continues to falter, it’s worth noting just how atypical this trend is for a president in his last couple of months in office. Outgoing presidents often get at least a little bump in approval, regardless of whether they were popular or unpopular. For instance, President Barack Obama’s net approval rating rose from about +8 after the 2016 election to almost +20 when Trump took office, while President George W. Bush’s net approval rating rose from -43 in November 2008 to about -30 going into Obama’s inauguration in January 2009. Even President George H.W. Bush, the last incumbent president to lose reelection before Trump, saw his net approval go from -23 after the election to +18 by the time he left the White House. It’s hard to imagine such a huge shift in this more polarized era, but Trump’s net approval has definitely declined more than his predecessors’. <<
FiveThirtyEight is a stat-freak site which aggregates and averages polls to find a mean, the Presidential-approval version of which can be seen on this page. Graphs compare the last dozen POTUSes day by day, approval and disapproval. Interestingly Rump is the one and only approval line, going all the way back to Truman, who has never touched 50%, appropriate for a candidate who couldn't touch 50% in the popular votes of Michigan Wisconsin or Pennsylvania (Florida, North Cackalackee, AridZona, friggin' Utah...) and certainly not the nation.

Rump's net approval stands right now at minus 17 and still dropping like a stock market that just heard about Coronavirus. I think Rump's going down to a record low, at least for him if not for all of history, befitting the single worst individual to ever hold the office.
Lie...his approval is at 49%....stop with the trolling bullshit.....

Supposedly down to 33% and If that's the case and 71,000,000 voted for him out of 155 million then he has lost approximately 20 million of the ones who voted for him, leaving around 51 million which must be his base.

Debating politics on Facebook provides me with the patterns that occur in real life.
Hes using the present tense.

Minutes ago he said he dumped his facebook account a year ago.

Fucker is too stupid to lie eh?
You are correct; I used the incorrect word.
I gave up on the retards a long time ago.
Caught like a rat. Can't even lie well
I'm still waiting to now how Trump ruined your life.
He hid what he knew about corona in February because he didn’t want to panic us and my grandmother died. She wasn’t warned to social distance and wear a mask.

I'm so sorry your grandmother died of the virus because of trump.

My aunt died of the virus because of trump and his lies too.

I feel the same way you do. It's one of the reasons why I feel the way I do about trump, his followers and those who enabled trump.

There are families and friends of nearly 400 thousand who died of the virus who feel the same way you do.

He didn't just hide it. He didn't just "downplay" it.

trump flat out lied through his teeth. He has been lying about the virus from day one.

Those lies are the cause of nearly 400 thousand deaths and all those who die of the virus in the future. trump is responsible for hundreds of thousands of American deaths.

It's one of the reasons why trump lost.
