Trump Announces Iran Deal ‘Largely Negotiated’, Strait of Hormuz to Be Opened

"Trump Announces Iran Deal ‘Largely Negotiated’, Strait of Hormuz to Be Opened

President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that a peace deal between the United States, Iran, and other regional partners has been “largely negotiated”, including the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Taking to his Truth Social platform, President Trump said that following an Oval Office call on Saturday with leaders from the Middle East and a separate call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a “Memorandum of Understanding” pertaining to peace between Washington and Tehran has been agreed to in principle.

Among those President Trump spoke with on Saturday were Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, Pakistani Chief of Defence Syed Asim Munir Ahmed Shah, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, King of Jordan Abdullah II, and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

“An Agreement has been largely negotiated, subject to finalization between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the various other Countries, as listed,” he wrote."

Democrats will be devastated, if peace is restored and gas prices fall. They want the American People to suffer for political gain.
Lets hear the details before cheering or complaining

For instance, what about the nukes?

Iran has not agreed to hand over enriched uranium - Reuters

Listen to this article

Iran has not agreed to hand over its highly enriched uranium stockpile and the nuclear issue is not part of a preliminary agreement under discussion, Reuters reported on Sunday, citing a senior Iranian source.

The source said Tehran’s nuclear file would be addressed separately from the initial framework being discussed to ease the wider conflict.

If that report is true then its s clear win for Iran

Conflicting reports.
Iran says it will never give up its uranium.

Looks like Trump wants to temporarily open Hormuz to get oil out, and gas and inflation down before the mid-terms.
But the fact that Iran gets relief from the blockade and sanctions means Iran wins, Trump TACOs again.

I'm plating a fresh serving of crow in anticipation of serving it up to you. LOL

Don’t spend too much time in the kitchen.

Trump’s pre mature announcement advertises his weakness (again)

Iran comes out on top.

Not only is Trump agreeing to nothing that wasn’t the case before he started his misbegotten war, but it will virtually codify Iran’s ability to control the Straits of Hormuz.

But Trumpsters will claim that retreating to the prewar status quo is a victory, even if the U.S. has burned a lot of its credibility and standing as a world leader.

There is no question thst Trump started a war and lost it.

If you think that’s a cause for celebration, have at it.

Yup. The world may breathe a sigh of relief, but the US has delt itself a serious wound. We have alienated most of the world, abandoned our role as leader of the wastern world, and caused a global recession.

I don’t trust Iran for anything. Bunch of Muslim terrorist genocidal criminals.
And I hate the idea of conceding anything to those trash terror monkeys.
Better get used to it. It’s Trump’s only real option.

The Gulf of Hormuz was open until Orange Tojo's Pearl Harbor attack.

So, what did spending over $90 billion of U.S. taxpayer money and depleting the U.S. military arsenal achieve, beyond causing the prices of fossil fuels to soar worldwide?

Is the same repressive regime in power in Tehran?

Does it still have its stockpile of nuclear materials?

Does it still have its now-demonstrated capability of shutting down the Strait of Hormuz?

Yup. The world may breathe a sigh of relief, but the US has dealt itself a serious wound.
What wound? The US economy is just fine thank youi.
We have alienated most of the world, abandoned our role as leader of the western world, and caused a global recession.
So who replaced us? Think hard... OK, no one can replace the largest economy and military in the world, duh.
We haven't alienated anyone, we just stopped being chumps.

Trump demanded that other nations save him from the disaster he had created and could not escape, whining that it was their problem:

“The United States imports almost no oil
through the Strait of Hormuz…
We don’t need it!”

The monumental ignorance that occasioned his "little excursion" with the Bibi included the basic economic reality
he had failed to understand, and for which Americans have paid dearly:

Oil is priced globally. Supply disruptions anywhere, especially in the Gulf,
transmit quickly across markets.
