The polls are still open and tales of voter fraud are surfacing. What is it going to be like tomorrow?

Do not make the mistake of thinking a stolen election here and there means nothing in the long run. Let’s not forget that passing the healthcare bill came about because of a stolen Senate seat:

There are few Republican activists who can forget the Minnesota Senate race four years later, when incumbent Republican Sen. Norm Coleman led election night by 700 ballots, saw a recount bring that margin down to 215 and a final count giving Democrat Al Franken the seat by 315 votes.

“Had we had any of the voter fraud operations that are in effect tomorrow in Washington state in 2004 or Minnesota in 2008,” one top Republican who requested anonymity told us, “Dino would be governor of Washington state and Norm would be serving his second term as senator—and Obamacare would have been dead on arrival in the Senate.”

Traumatic shock is the only way to describe Al Franken’s successful theft:

trauma (noun)
plural traumas or traumata

1. Medicine. A serious injury or shock to the body, as from violence or an accident.

2. Psychiatry. An emotional wound or shock that creates substantial, lasting damage to the psychological development of a person, often leading to neurosis.

noun, attributive
Often used to modify another noun: a trauma center; a trauma team.

[Greek.]
— traumatic (adjective)
— traumatically (adverb)

It’s hard to imagine Al Gore doing more harm than Al Franken had he, Gore, succeeded in stealing the presidency in 2000. Even after the Affordable Care Act is repealed the traumatic shock caused by one stolen election is substantial and lasting. For one thing the Supreme Court will never regain the trust it lost in upholding the ACA. The High Court’s integrity withstood some really corrupt political decisions over the decades, but upholding the ACA is the one that will corrode the public’s trust in the Court in the years ahead. And all because of Al Franken.

Incidentally, notice what Panetta was up to 28 years before Benghazi:

In 1984, Republican Rick McIntyre not only led in the final count for Congress from Indiana’s 8th District but also had a certificate of election. But, at the time, the Democratic-controlled U.S. House would not seat him and a recount overseen by a special House panel chaired by then-Rep. Leon Panetta (D-Calif) decided that Democratic Rep. Frank McCloskey had been re-elected over McIntyre by four votes.

Republicans taking no chances on election fraud - Conservative News

You could fill a library with nothing else but commentaries on crooked elections. Go all the way back to the nineteenth century and read everything that has been said about wonderful democracy, about majority rules, about government by the people, blah, blah, blah, and one thing stands out ——nothing has been done to stop election fraud. In truth, early voting laws insures even more dishonesty.

For two hundred years all of the saviors who went into government, along with all of those brilliant judges they write about long after they are dead, could not prevent ineligible voters from voting. The lot of them combined could not handle an ineligible president starting with Chester A. Arthur (1829-1986); so how in hell can anybody expect them to do anything about election fraud?

Who’s counting?

All of the engineers using all of the technology that is portrayed in the movies cannot design a cheat-proof voting machine. Computer Geeks in moving pictures can do everything; in real life they can’t get an accurate count of the votes cast. I don’t know who first expressed this truism but it applies in American elections more than it applies anywhere else:

People who vote do not decide elections; people who count the votes decide elections.

I’m so used to the media protecting Hussein I don’t notice it anymore. Still, I wish talking heads would tell us who is doing the counting in Hussein’s Arab Spring. Do you think it’s the Muslim Brotherhood?

Finally, nothing was more sickening throughout this election cycle than the media. One bunch of talking heads told us replacing one man would bring better government. Talking heads tried to convince everyone that replacing only ONE man would solve all of the problems that have been festering since the Great Depression. I always thought that that was a sly way of telling us how awesome the president, any president, is even if you disagreed with his policies.

Another media group told us that keeping Hussein would continue good government. All of the horseshit aside, “the most important election in our lifetimes” was aimed at getting that 50 or so percent of eligible voters who never vote to go out and vote for the same kind of liars, crooks, perverts, and scoundrels who presided over election frauds throughout the last century. I can’t wait until the suckers realize they’ve been had.

Trauma survival improves thanks to new techniques...

New Procedures Improve Chances for Trauma Victims
April 22, 2013 — As cases of gun violence fuel the debate over tougher gun laws across the United States, there is one statistic that is positive. Hospitals in many states are seeing fewer gunshot injuries according to doctors at one California trauma center. And for those who suffer from these injuries or other severe trauma, doctors are improving their chances of survival.
At one of the largest trauma centers in the United States, a multi-disciplinary team of doctors and nurses works quickly to save the life of a 60-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Dr. Peep Talving is the trauma surgeon on call. “When he was closing his shop there was a robbery, and they stabbed him. He got six stab wounds to the chest, one to the abdomen and two to the neck,” said Talving.

Methodical processes

Dr. Demetrios Demetriades, director of Trauma Services at the Los Angeles County - University of Southern California Trauma Center, said when someone is severely hurt, members of the trauma team are activated. "Everybody in our center is expected to be in the emergency room within five minutes of activation. This means that they are there before the patient arrives. And each person has a dedicated duty," he said. Demetriades said this methodical way of treating patients at a trauma center has lowered the preventable trauma deaths to less than two percent. Other advancements also have improved survival rates. One of them is a change from having paramedics stabilize the patient at the scene to what is called “scoop and run.” “Don’t waste any valuable time trying to stabilize the patient. Put him in the ambulance and take him to the hospital to the trauma center immediately without any delay,” said Demetriades.

Different treatments

Talving said that is especially critical with gunshot and stab wounds. “Particularly with the penetrating trauma because if you got a vascular injury to the chest torso, there is nothing else than surgery that will stop the bleeding.” That is the case for the elderly stabbing victim. Talving had to operate to stop the internal bleeding. The concept of “scoop and run” also is one of the reasons why 18-year-old Juan Gallardo survived a drive-by shooting. Demetriades described the injuries. “This patient has a gunshot injury to the heart and lung. Twenty years ago he would have been dead and buried - had memorial services every year,” he said. After surgery, though, Gallardo is returning home two weeks after the shooting. “I’m planning on going back to school and go to church.”

In another change, the hospital operates selectively on patients with gunshots to the abdomen - especially if no vital organs are hit. Not operating reduces medical complications after surgery. Additionally, in a lesson learned from the war zones of Iraq and Afghanistan, Demetriades said there's a new procedure instead of the traditional method of giving trauma patients large amounts of intravenous fluids such as saline. “Now we give blood products. We restrict all types of fluids. We give fresh blood products and again this has made a very significant difference,” he said. Changes like these have improved a patient's chances of survival in trauma centers by as much as 25%. As for the elderly man who was stabbed, he is expected to make a full recovery.

FRAUD UPDATE

This is stunning. It was Franken’s razor-thin “victory” over incumbent Senator Norm Coleman that allowed the Democrats to ram Obamacare down the throats of the American people. If we assume that 80% of the 941 ineligible felons voted for Al Franken–a conservative assumption, as nearly all convicted felons are Democrats–then Franken’s victory is attributable to voter fraud. And the 941 ineligible votes are just a fraction of those that could have been identified if the Democratic Secretary of State had not stonewalled, refusing to turn over the full list of ineligible voters.

This is a blockbuster story. I don’t yet have an opinion on how the legal case will turn out. Plaintiffs allege that the Secretary of State’s implementation of same day registration violates the Minnesota Constitution, Minnesota statutes, and the principle of separation of powers. The Minnesota Supreme Court may or may not ultimately uphold those legal claims. But, if it is true that more than 1,600 fraudulent votes have been identified by voter name, date and poll location, the Left’s claim that voter fraud is essentially non-existent is blown sky-high. And Al Franken should be turned out of the Senate.
