What happens if a bio female refuses to do it? Can they force a woman or a man to search soneone of the opposite sex? I know that men will get accused of things if they touch a female

Police are professionals. I'm sure concern over making sure a suspect isn't armed or carrying a needle will override any 'ick' factor.
