Obviously, I'm not asking for myself, since I'm rapidly approaching my mid-50's. But I had a friend at the old board who was furious that men could go topless when it was wicked hot out, but she wasn't allowed.

If it becomes a personal choice, I don't care, really.

Just like I don't care if someone farts in public, either.

But, in both instances I have enough information about the person to decide if I want to associate with them or not, or just laugh at them.

Allow me to be two faced for a moment.

1. Women should be allowed to go topless, same as men.
2. That said, for about 90% of the population, I'd really rather prefer that they remain covered.

I am against the double standard. If men are allowed to go topless, then women should have the same right.

Even here... male nipples are allowed...but not women's . I was watching the chaz bono program the other night. I found it interesting that they would not show a full naked frontal of chaz as a woman... but once she became a man.... a full naked frontal was just fine. Same person...same nipples.... same chest (just flat)
