Tom Brady the G.O.A.T

No QB has ever won a Super Bowl playing on a crappy team.
Very few teams have won a SB without very good to great QB.

Namath (though he’s in the HOF)

There might be a couple more. But by and large you’re not winning a SB without a very good QB. Certainly not in the modern era.

Ok who’s the GOAT then.
I don't know. It isn't as simple as it seems.
You take Peyton Manning. Terrific QB, on many levels. Smart/accurate/determined. But he wasn't that good out of the pocket. He required a highly talented front line in order to do his best. Same can be said for Brady.
And that is why it isn't just the statistics. There is also playing with what you got.
An example of that is Roethlesberger. A very underrated QB. Tough/Smart and larger/more athletic than 90% of all QBS. And deadly out of the pocket. Who is to say what he would have done with a front line Brady had as well as the receivers he had?
It is a loaded question.

Rothlisberger had far better WRs throughout his career than Brady.

That aside, if you cant make a decision about who is the GOAT you’re opinion on who isn’t lacks credibility.

Gronkowski was a great TE and Randy Moss was a great WR.

Trying to project the greatest of all time is nonsense.

Many great Pro players today have much greater stats, but play when the rules are looser.

Yeah. and yet the WR's that went through Pittsburgh were better as a whole and were there for longer. Im a Steeler fan. Im well aware of the WR's Rothlisberger had.

Not sure what there is to disagree with. Pittsburgh especially during Mike Tomlin's tenure has been exceptional at drafting talent at the WR position. The cast of WR's that have been in Pittsburgh has been 100% better than what went through NE. AB was on the Steelers for 9 years. He was a top 5 guy for 5-6 years and the #1 for a couple. He was a nutbag but he was also a freak at the position. One of the knocks on BB that many pundits talk about is his inability to draft talent at the skill positions especially on the Offensive side of the ball. He just got lucky with Brady.
