WW1 was 100 years ago.

Since then lots of books have been written about its futility and the mistake of the US for entering it at all.

One of the things that happened in it was Germany appealing to Mexico to join the war against the US.
In return for which, Germany would help Mexico take back Texas, AridZona and New Mexico.

Would have made Rump's wall quite a bit more complicated....

A US war of conquest with Mexico (again) would have made perfect sense, then we could have carved up Mexico into another two dozen states and prevented the drug problems of today.

WW1 was a total waste of time and lives by everyone especially the US since it led directly to WW2.

Mexico was never gonna go for that deal anyway. It was more about Germany making that offer.

Yep, my thread on that is here. And just like this one, naysayers came in to whine about it.
Wonder why some here get so butthurt over simple observations of history. Guess it adds onto the Revisionista workload.

The American war hysteria of 1917 was because the Germans started sinking American ships.

Going to war was foolishness by America.

They should have stayed out of WW1 and American ships should have steered clear of England and Europe.
