I enjoyed it in my youth.
Not so much now after having to mow 6 acres every week and weedeat around dozens of trees.
Even with a tractor it took most of the day.

Yeah I understand that.
I just do it at my own pace with no helpers....
20 hours a week maybe.

In the hot summer I work from 6 am to 4pm
2 days. I may start doing some flower beds and fall cleanup soon.

I'll be drawing Social Security when I'm 62 which is less than 2 years away now, and still doing this on the side...... I could go drive a forklift or flip burgers for 15 bucks an hour ,or this where I average 25 to $35 an hour. .. with no one supervising me.

You know up north, the guys love when it snows---they make tons of money clearing private roads, driveways and lots. in the off season of construction , landscaping...all that outdoor blue collar type stuff.

The driveway takes 2 hours.

We only mowed the back 6 acres and left the rest wild.
The 6 acres was along the S. Llano river in a pecan bottom.
