The Times magazine superlosers are at it again. Superheroes are racist, American movies are racist... everything is racist. And not only racist, but systematically systemic racism.

TIME magazine recently published an article called, “We’re Re-examining How We Portray Cops Onscreen. Now It’s Time to Talk About Superheroes,” in which the author trashes cops and superheroes by saying, “What are superheroes except cops with capes who enact justice with their powers?”

The author makes an odd argument that the Hollywood portrayals of police are far too positive by applauding the cancellation of Live PD and Cops.

“Legal procedurals and shoot-em-up action movies have long presented a skewed perception of the justice system in America, in which the police are almost always positioned as the good guys. These ‘good cop’ narratives are rarely balanced out with stories of systemic racism in the criminal justice system. The ‘bad guys’ they pursue are often people of color, their characters undeveloped beyond their criminality.”

What else do you expect from the mentally ill?

I watched Bright which stars Will Smith on netflix a few days ago. Cops were portrayed as abusive, racist and corrupt.

Well good thing that NYT is the new Chaz. No cops utopia, here we come!

Democrats are now trying communism that never worked anywhere - inside America. Chaz lasted for week or two, let's see how long the next communist experiment lasts. Of course they don't care whether it fails as it will - they want to see the whole place burn for their master, Lucifer.

How better to violently change the laws of a civilization than to demonize and outlaw those men responsible for enforcing them.

You nailed it. And you had the courage to speak the name of the one behind it all. Applause.

I disagree, and so does Wade:

In the first Blade movie, ditto.

Hell, in the Batman Gotham, the police have often been presented like that, to make the actions of a vigilante, make sense.

Liberals just say shit. Anything to advance the agenda. They don't care about it being true, or if they are hurting someone with their bullshit lies.

You have to pity the cop haters.

Some of them (depending on where they live) may unfortunately become a victim of a robbery or sucker punching or rape, etc.

They will, of course, immediately call for a cop, not a social worker.

Their whole world will be turned upside down when they realize (too late) that many of the people for whom their hearts bleed are not worth their blood.

Cops are humans. Some are very bad people. But they are our only protection against some people who are even worse.

..my sister is liberal and gives me those magazines--all the time = anti-white/hate of white articles

..actually a LOT of movies show bad cops:
Dark Blue 2002
Code of Silence 1985
Copland 1997
.....the list is endless--if anything, there are MORE movies of bad cops than good cops ---DUH--that's more ''entertaining'' than boring good cops
....so--Time is BULLSHIT--without a doubt--same old crap--cops bad--criminals good
