Chinese tycoon who criticized Xi Jinping's handling of coronavirus jailed for 18 years

Is this the right way to handle dissenting opinions or was the CCP are too lenient? They disappeared him in March!!

"In the essay published in March, widely attributed to Ren, the author lashed out at the party's crackdown on press freedom and intolerance of dissent. While the essay did not mention Xi by name, it obliquely referred to the country's top leader as a power-hungry "clown.""

How will you answer, will you lie and say the CCP did wrong or openly embrace your inner Mao?

Decisions Decisions

Is this really what you want to see happen in America?

Look at all the actors who were Blacklisted for criticizing Born in Kenya Barack, praise be his Holy Name.

Isn't this what you really want when you return yourselves to your rightful places as President, legislature and courts?

Sounds like he was arrogant enough to think his wealth put him above the laws...

Awesome. We should lock up our rich people when they break the law.

Which actors are those, exactly?

James Woods, R Lee Ermey, Ron Silver

Okay.

I love R. Lee Ermey, but his biggest problem was that he could only play ONE character, and that character was the psychotic Drill Instructor. He really didn't have a big acting range. And after a certain point, he really couldn't go for a lot of those roles because no one was going to believe the Marines were still using a 60 year old Drill Sergeant.

If you look at his IMDB page, he was pretty much reduced to voice actor work as early as 2000.

So that argument - FAILS.

Ron Silver - Uh, Ron Silver died in 2009. Specifically March 2009. So he was blacklisted for criticizing Obama even though he only lived to see two months of Obama being president. Interesting.

So that leaves James Woods, who claims he was blacklisted for his views. Of course, the only sources we have for this is James Woods.

Woods claimed to be an independent during the Obama and Bush years, and he was only "blacklisted" because of his support of Trump, but really, his career has been on the decline for quite some time.

Here's a reality of being a "Star" in Hollywood. (As opposed to being a character actor like Ermey).. you have a pretty short shelf life. Woods was really only a big "star" in the 1990's, and only moderately. After that it was mostly voice work and bit parts.

R. Lee could not get a return phone call after he criticized Born in Kenya Barack

Correct. Ron Silver's career ended when he decided to support America after 9/11

Um, yeah, he went on an anti-Obama Rant at a charity event for Toys for Tots... But funny thing, the man still got gigs after that.

Except- again, he got plenty of work after 2001... But your claim was that he was blacklisted for criticizing Obama... even though he died very early in Obama's term.

So... who wants Xiden?

Unless you wear a mask, 18 years in prison. I am not sure if it's 18 years for breaching his 3 month mask mandate, but surely he will follow the foot steps of Xi.

But it's not all bad. Prison is probably good place to be as Biden lets criminals out of prison and unites with them to burn down society.

In China, if you even indirectly refer to the emperor as a "clown," you get 18 years in prison.

In the United States of America, if you disagree with politically correct views regarding ethnicities, you lose your livelihood.

In every country, one must follow the party line.

So we Americans are in no position to criticize other countries.
