This was not a Canadian mass public shooting, the 6 officers were shot during a standard bank robbery in Canada....

The police were furious when the Conservatives scrapped the Long Gun Registry. They knew before they went on a call what guns might be encountered. Lord knows WE overpaid to create the damn thing, and then they just scrapped it because of donations from the NRA.
Nothing in your post is true.
Except tthe part where you overpaid for a system doomed to fail, of course.

You should fact check before putting your foot in your mouth:

I think it depends on the source since there's really no single clear definition of a mass shooting. And if we confine the meaning to something very specific the numbers may not be very large indeed.

America is what you get when you get a LOT of freedom. Some people make good use of it, some don't. But we are still the freest, richest nation on earth. And if we have a few more guns and a few more shootings, maybe we are doing something right?

It's weird when you think about it: virtually no other wealthy country like America has our "competition based healthcare system" yet everyone is jealous of our medicine. America has a really high number of gun deaths, but we are the envy of the world and everyone wants to be here.

Nothing in your link supports your assertion that:
-The police were furious when the Conservatives scrapped the Long Gun Registry.
-They knew before they went on a call what guns might be encountered.
-They just scrapped it because of donations from the NRA.
You should actually read a source before posting it in support of your claims.

In gun controlled Canada...

AANICH, British Columbia, June 28 (Reuters) - Canadian police shot dead two men and six officers were wounded during a gunfight at a bank in British Columbia on Tuesday, and nearby homes were evacuated after the discovery of a possible explosive device, police said.
---
The suspects were "heavily armed" and initial reports suggested they wore body armor, Saanich police chief Dean Duthie told a news conference.
-----
Six officers were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds, some of whom would soon be released but others "sustained very serious injuries and have been taken into surgery," Duthie said.

As I always ask after an event like this in a country that brags about their gun control laws....

Which Canadian gun control law kept these two guys from walking into a school, church, theater, or mall, and shooting innocent people...

I will wait with no expectation of getting an answer from the anti-gun fanatics...
How many died in Uvalde?

You should fact check before putting your foot in your mouth:
And as long as you;re at it....

From an article with far more substance than yours:

Some police officers also questioned the efficacy of the registry in protecting them on domestic-violence calls, since the registry was riddled with inaccuracies and didn't say where guns are located, only who owns them. Either way, long guns are only involved in about 18% of female spousal killings in Canada. Knives account for 31%, according to Mauser.

Already answered that in another thread...here it is again...

21.

Meanwhile, Americans use their legal guns 1.2 million times a year to save lives from rape, robbery, murder, beatings and stabbings.....

How many lives were saved in the Indiana mall? We can't tell because the good guy with the gun killed the attacker in 15 seconds...he didn't have 90 minutes, with 400 police officers standing outside the door, to kill 21 people....the armed civilian, with his concealed carry gun, killed him in 15 seconds......

Fifteen seconds after the shooting began, Elisjsha Dicken, a legally-armed 22-year-old man from Seymour, engaged the shooter in a gunfight. From a distance of forty yards, Dicken fired ten rounds from a Glock handgun, hitting the shooter eight times. The shooter fired once, and attempted to retreat into the restroom, but instead fell to the ground and died soon afterwards.[7][8][9]

What we know about the armed bystander who killed the shooter at an Indiana mall

Dressed in shorts and a T-shirt, Elisjsha Dicken was shopping with his girlfriend when a gunman opened fire on a food court at a Greenwood, Indiana, mall Sunday evening, killing three people and wounding two others.

So....genius....at Uvalde...you had over 400 police officers standing around for 90 minutes....while 21 people were murdered....by a guy with an AR-15 rifle....

In the Indiana mall, one armed civilian, with his privately owned, concealed carry pistol shot and killed an attacker who was also armed with an AR-15 rifle.........killed him in 15 seconds..

So...doofus........it isn't the weapon, it is the amount of time you allow the killer to kill before you start to shoot back at him.....

This is the sort of shooting gun control is meant to prevent.
