This should make you authoritarians unbelievably happy

Godvernment hates to be defied.

South Korea and the US had their first confirmed COVID-19 cases on the same day.

Enjoy the difference in response outcomes.

Godvernment hates to be defied.
Hoarding during a crisis in order to price-gouge is the moral equivalent of being a war profiteer.

And this will enrage some as well

It's still all a hoax? Let the bodies pile up. Hope he's in church on Sundays with his elder underlying conditions.

It is merely american style capitalism.

Yeah, the kind that can get you a firing squad in wartime.

Kind of jumping the gun aren't you? There's no way of telling how many will have died by the time this is all over.

yeah- except when an individual does it it's called what? When the godvernment does it it's called what?
The man saw an opportunity and took it. The godvernment decided he had sinned and took it from him through threat of force- the initiation of force is immoral no matter what excuse is used. Godvernment exploits that threat of force to do what?

Pay real close attention to this- it's in simple English.

It is manifestly contrary to the interest of the consumers to prevent the most efficient entrepreneurs from expanding their activities up to which the public approves of their conduct of business by buying their products.
Here again, the issue is who should be supreme, the consumers or the godvernment? In the unhampered (by godvernment) market the behavior of consumers, their buying or abstention from buying ultimately determines each individuals income and wealth. Should one vest in the godvernment the power to overrule the consumer;s choices?- Ludwig von Mises from Human Action 1949!

Hi lites mine.

Another non-reader, or intellectually dishonest or someone with an agenda- I won't be in church- haven't been in years and won't for "worship" anyone or anything- save your proselytizing for the religious where you can preach to a choir because I will point out your hypocrisy's in a heart beat.

They paid fair value for them.
No, they paid (if they did) what they believed to be fair- which is subjective at best and is NOT the role gov't is supposed to play - in eminent domain cases that applies.

As usual we get the "threat of force" canard. How else do deal with criminals, strongly worded notes?

What I want to know is how did he hoard that much? Did he pay for the supplies himself? If he could prove his payment for those supplies the U.S. government should compensate him. If they don't compensate him wouldn't that be a sort of illegal search and seizure?
