"A Manhattan prosecutor’s investigation into President Donald Trump’s finances goes beyond ‘hush money’ payments during the 2016 campaign and includes allegations of bank and insurance fraud, according to a court filing Monday.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. emphasized the broad scope of the grand jury investigation as he battles to get access to eight years of financial records related to Trump and his business empire."

Once the presidential protection from indictment goes away, that protection being the reason Mueller did not indict Trump for obstruction of his inquiry, Baby Donald may face the music in NY.

Then, he'll be paying for his legal defense without Billy the Bagman to keep Don sheltered from his criminal behavior.

He is going to rue the day he decided that running for president would be an excellent marketing opportunity.

And his evidence is? Accusations without evidence does not guilt make. If they had it they wouldn’t be doing everything in their power to get access to his financials...
Just like with the Mueller investigation they keep hoping to turn up something...but can’t...

LoL your seething hatred for Donald Trump began the day he took your Presidency away and it will end the day he leaves office. Whenever that is.
If he broke the law don't you want him to be held accountable?

"Plaintiff’s argument that the Mazars Subpoena is overbroad fails for the additional reason that it rests on the false premise that the grand jury’s investigation is limited to so-called 'hush-money' payments made by Michael Cohen on behalf of Plaintiff in 2016,” Vance wrote. “This Court is already aware that this assertion is fatally undermined by undisputed information in the public record.”

Vance’s filing goes on to note that in a court opinion last October, Marrero noted that the subpoenaed information could be of use in examining claims of “alleged insurance and bank fraud by the Trump Organization and its officers.” The district attorney’s submission also cites news articles alleging that Trump routinely used various schemes to inflate the value of his assets when obtaining loans and diminish those values when paying taxes."

So you support witch hunts against citizens. Got it. Unless it was you or one of your own then all hell would break loose.

This all sounds speculative at best, investigators in search of a crime. Where was your strong desire for justice when the Clintons shamelessly ripped off Haiti to the tune of hundreds of millions? Where did the Obamas come up with $15 million to buy their mansion in Martha's Vineyard? How did Nancy Pelosi double her net worth in one year?

I disagree. All you have to do to get over Trump Denial Syndrome is stop ignoring things you don't want to know about.

"The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is probing the Trump Organization over fraud allegations, state prosecutors suggested in a Monday court filing.

The probe covers allegations of potential bank and insurance fraud, wrote Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance in a motion to dismiss a federal case that President Trump filed to block a subpoena that New York prosecutors obtained for the President’s tax returns, which are held by a third-party accounting firm.

The Supreme Court dismissed a challenge from President Trump to the subpoena last month, but left room for him to continue objecting to the demand for documents at the district court level."

Sure.

Along with Hunter Biden.

They can be cellmates

Cy Vance is incompetent at best. This moron got caught telling lawyers to NOT build cases against rioters arrested and instead to build a case against the COP who arrested them. All he hasn’t is he “thinks” something happened. Sorry, Cy fails again.
