Version one: “I deserve welfare! I shouldn’t have to have a job! Working is too hard!”

Version two: “I deserve to make what a CEO makes! People should all get paid the same! That’s what fair!”

Version three: “I’m special! My parents told me so! Everyone gets a trophy! That’s what’s fair!”

Now this isn’t to say these people don’t exist. it’s just that they are used as cookie cutter mental shortcuts in the minds of republicans. They widely exaggerate how common these individuals are and how they vote. Republicans like to believe the entire Leftwing is like this for two reasons:

1) It gives them a false sense of manliness and toughness. Everyone but republicans are leeches because of course they are. It comes from a place of insecurity generalizing liberals in this way. What a hard on they get saying “get a job!” at a subgroup That is mostly already employed.

2) It makes it easy to dismiss anything the leftwing has to say on an issue. Republicans struggle the most with cognitive dissonance. They refuse to believe anything that doesn’t already coddle their Fox News worldview.

The reality, of course, is that just as many self-identified conservatives are unemployed. I’m willing to bet plenty of them have a retarded sense of entitlement. Hell, liberals are more likely to have a degree in higher education and this caricature still persists.

1. In the AOC green new deal, it said people who were unwilling to work should get a 'living wage'.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and team attempt damage control after a fumbled Green New Deal rollout that included a line about paying Americans 'unwilling to work'

This was well documented. And we've hear them talk about universal living wages in the past with Finland.
Finland to end basic income trial after two years

Of course Finland found out, what all of us on the right already knew... paying people to not work is a plan.

Which is why they ended the project.

So right-wingers claiming the left-wing wants to get paid to not work, isn't a cariature... it's just a fact.

2. While it's true that Left-wingers do not openly say that they want to earn what the CEO makes, the do in fact point at how much CEOs make constantly.

They do this without any logical reason. They don't want to work as much as a CEO does, yet they complain the CEO makes more. They don't want the responsibility the CEO has, but they don't like that they make the big bucks.

And equally, they can't stand that CEOs have huge incomes, while admitting that the CEO not having a huge income would have zero effect on their own income.

So that leaves the obvious question... why do they care?

Give the reality involved, no matter what reason Left-wingers have to complain about the rich... no matter what reason they come up with at all... the reason must be utterly stupid, and without merit.

3. Well this is just flat out true. If you are standing around saying you should get free stuff, then you by definition believe you should get a participation trophy.

The moment you say you 'deserve' (and there is another thread on this forum posted just recently which said 'deserve')... the moment you say you deserve something.... that is a participation trophy.

You are saying I shouldn't have to work for it... I should not have to put in the effort for it... I should just get it, because I can suck air, pee yellow water, and poop without staining my pants.... therefore I deserve it?

That is the epidemic of a participation trophy mentality.

1) It gives them a false sense of manliness and toughness.

So who is engaging in Caricatures now? :) I love it when lame left-wingers trip over their own attack.

2) It makes it easy to dismiss anything the leftwing has to say on an issue.
Without any of those statements, we would still dismiss wrong ideological positions, because..... they are wrong.

The reason stereotypes generally exist, is because they are true.

If you think government should give you stuff, then you have a participation trophy mindset. That's a fact. Whether I say it directly, or explain to you how you are not owed anything, without saying participation trophy... either way, the ideology being pushed is wrong.

Well, not to blow my own horn, I never do any of that.

I am happy to engage with any lib, and it is generally only a matter of a few posts, before they collapse into gibberish of one sort or another and I just point that out, and they pretend to be too stupid to know what I am saying.

And that goes on, until they manage to get some moderate to lock the thread.

And yeah, anyone who says that “get a job” non sense are those kinds of people I described. The people on the right who don’t talk like this are not this. Duh. This isn’t complicated.

Well of course. The narrative is accurate and true. We don't just represent left-wingers... it's what they actually are.

That's why you can't deny it, only complain it's a narrative.

The AOC is true.

How is anyone who says 'get a job', nonsense?

I've had 3 different jobs at the same time in the past. I'm not saying anything that I have not lived out in my own life.

If I get laid off I would be more then happy to wash dishes for 22 an hour for a time beating... but I can’t democrats have flooded my city with low wage workers and you will pay
Lol I don’t even know where to begin with how dumb this is.
If I get laid off I would be more then happy to wash dishes for 22 an hour for a time being.. but I can’t democrats have flooded my city with low wage workers and you will pay

huh
Who the hell would ever pay you 22 per hour to wash dishes under any circumstances?

I thought that was his point.... you want to raise the minimum wage, under this messed up belief that everyone deserves to be paid more.

But raising the minimum wage, doesn't make the value of the labor higher. Which you correctly pointed out... why would anyone pay you $22/hour to wash dishes?
Right.... that is our point. Why would anyone pay you $15/hour to flip a burger over?

Customers are not going to pay massive prices, so you can do zero-skill jobs.
