I believe that Adoschem (G-d) has a whole lot of humor.

7 billion people. 100 Westboro termites. You do the math.

I remember that. Don't know about the Supreme Court reference but 'who took it public' would be the Jerry Falwells and Pat Robertsons.

Not that it hadn't been creeping as an outgrowth of the '50s "Red Scare" and the anti-establishment '60s.... "under God" was added to the Pledge of Allegiance in 1954 -- the peak of McCarthyism. There's long roots.
