Carter was a buffoon, and accomplished NOTHING of consequence in his four wasted years as president. A nice guy? Sure. But NOT an effective president. ALMOST as ineffective as the Kenyan-born miscreant was.

Jimmy Carter was a nuclear engineer and a graduate of Annapolis. Carter greenlit the development of the Smart Bombs and remote control computer based weapons which allowed the USA to win Desert Storm without any significant loss of American life.

Carter modernized the American military in a cost effective and efficient manner which allowed Reagan to use that military to become the most powerful nation in the world.
