Calm down, Democrats. This is about winning the electoral college, not national polls. | New York Daily News

We felt secure when Obama seemed to be up by 9 pointsin Ohio. But the race will go back and forth until November election day. Romney will not pull ahead. He will not even be polled with 270 electoral votes before then. Tied nationally means nothing with you are sitting on 250+ electoral votes this close to election day, as Obama is. Romney only made the race closer....he did not win it. Sooner or later he will have to answer to some of his "new postions" from the lat debate.

Ohio is a dead heat now. Yet the Left is still clinging to the 250 Electoral College Myth. lol

Kiss your freebies good-bye.

University of Colorado Professors Ken Bickers and Michael Berry have quite a set of bragging rights up their sleeve – namely, they’ve devised a mathematical model of the Electoral College that has predicted every Presidential race correctly since Ronald Reagan won the Presidency in 1980.

And despite recent polls showing the presidential race deadlocked both nationally and in key swing states, Bickers and Berry‘s model shows a race that isn’t even close. According to them, not only will Mitt Romney win, but he will win big, taking 320 Electoral Votes to President Obama’s 218 – a result almost as decisive as President Obama’s win against Senator John McCain in 2008.

Guess we will see won't we ?

Interesting how Obama supporters are unable to discuss even the most mundane subject on a rational basis.

The electorial college should go it should be pure total nationwide votes.

Could not Disagree more. The EC is a necessary and Intergal part of what makes us a Unique Representative Republic.

The Electoral College is the last defense against vote fraud. Without it, the political machines in New york, Chicago and L.A. would simply wait to see how many votes they need to manufacture to decide the election.

I think that this whole "250" thing is a misconception by the leftist Obama-lovers.

The "250" refers to the number of days of vacation that Obama has taken, at taxpayer expense, this year.

If the national polls start to swing more in favor of one candidate than the other the swing state polls tend to follow as they are doing now.

Exactly swing voters don't want to vote for the loser.
