We are reading all the crap daily, on here. Everybody is partisan. Everybody thinks the cities are burning and are scared or angry, planning to shoot somebody or ready to support the cause (if there is one). Or they are part of the problem and a marxist, a fascist, a socialist, a communist, etc. Everybody is certain global warming is past the point of no return and grand children will have nothing but post apocalyptic wasteland after all the forests are burned to the ground or there is no global warming, sea levels not rising and global warming a complete hoax foisted on the nonthinking to control the masses and bring down the US economy to where we will be a 3rd world nation, like everywhere else on earth. The rivers and lands are hopelessly polluted with industrial, farm and human waste or pristine with more abundance than ever in the history of the country. All this and more. We are each sitting sitting with a computer, and advanced electronic communication with worldwide webs, able to execute Boolean search arguments, guaranteed to find references and articles to support our positions from solid and dubious sources, returning results in a second, that would have taken days or weeks in multiple libraries 40 years ago to prove? our points beyond a shadow of a doubt to anyone else on this message board, that is not an idiot, a fascist, a communist, an illiterate, a tool, a troll, a co-conspirator, a Russian, a Chinese Communist supporter or whatever vile person we create, mostly in our own minds or the minds of conspiracy geeks, trying to spread their alarm and do so for whatever reason, reasons, cause, or political tribe.I was just kidding on those signs...No seeing many of those either. Matter of fact, seeing less election signs this year than any other presidential election year I remember.Any DUMP TRUMP signs on that drive through the neighborhoods? Or, Trump Lied, 200,000 Died signs? Likely more of those type signs than Biden/Harris signs!

Both sides are afraid of the "other side", perhaps? Or neighbors, just want to continue being neighborly?
The fact is, there is not all that much new going on under the Sun that has not gone on before. The truth is always somewhere between whatever two or more hyperbolic extremes of view being supported. There are a lot of people out there, that only pay passing interest in the extremes and do not wish to waste the emotional energy to be dragged into fervent support of anyone else's cause and would rather be left the hell alone to work, study, raise families, have friends, enjoy a less cluttered lifestyle or enjoy what they have amassed and the leisure time they have. The waffling between extremes just waffles faster now, fed by the speed of microprocessors. Not to say there are not bad things going on in the world and in this country, but not as dire and immediately impactful as the alarmists that occupy a significant amount of their leisure time on here, truly believe. Most people probably know the truth is and always has been somewhere in the middle and just do not wish to expend the emotional energy of allegiance to a cause group, therefore not as quick to stick up a sign to clutter their lawn or trash the back bumper of their car.
