Yes, he should have stated that it's great the market was up, but he should always follow that with, "but to me, it's all about jobs and helping people become better off".

The market was overvalued even before the coronavirus, that just made it easy for people to sell off an already overpriced market.

As long as jobs and wages grew, the U.S economy is in a good position.
 
Sometime Trump spends too much time patting himself on the back. That's a matter of style and a lot of people don't like that. But when you factor in his amazing ability to work and solve problems, I think a few personality flaws are minor. The guy has an amazing capacity to deal with multiple problems at the same time. The villain in this Coronavirus pandemic is the MSM who do nothing but promote panic and undermine our President at every turn.
