Hence Obama's career was launched in Bill and Bernie's living room when he first ran for the New Party a left wing socialist party.

I rhink you might be hanging a bad rap on Scaife here. He has not been a blind partisan, so far as I know. The closest thing I can find to support your accusation of him being an oligarchist is that his newspaper endorsed Hillary Clinton for President in 2008.

But his thesis in the article is right on so far as I can tell. Anybody who has read up with an open mind on the individuals cited have no reservations whatsoever with describing them as Marxists. Marxism in itself is not intended as an evil thing by many of its advocates. In fact, many of its advocates don't even know that is what they are advocating or at least don't identify it with Marxism.

But the idea of putting almost all control in the hands of a strong central government in order to ultimately effect maximum justice and equity for the people who will eventually live in a governmentless utopia where everybody shares everything is the very heart of Marxism. Unfortunately those who achieve the strong central government part never seem to want to relinquish the power to the people after they get there.

The DSA and 'New Party' then systematically attempted to cover up any ties between Obama and the Socialist Organizations. However, it now appears that Barack Obama was indeed a certified and acknowledged member of the DSA's New Party.

And Socialism is simply Marxism without the intent to eventually dissolve the government. Most European governments and more and more the USA government are a combination of Socialism and Capitalism. But there are those who want to do away with the Capitalism other than that defined by the government.

Marx saw Democracy as the road to Capitalism and Capitalism as the gateway to Socialism, then Totalitarianism to break down the last vestages of property rights and then the government could be dissolved and a Communist utopia would exist.

From Marx's Communist Manifesto - Section 2, paragraph 13:
The theory of Communism may be summed up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property.

Think about that when you hear some of our friends say there should be a limit on how much income any one person should be allowed to earn or how much wealth any one person should be allowed to have. They probably don't know it, but such are Marxist concepts.

When our President suggests that the rich need to pay proportionately more than everybody else or we need to spread the wealth around, those are Marxist concepts.
