He must listen to his homely Spook wife.

Teddy Roosevelt led 2 regiments of Black Cavalry up the San Juan Heights. Too bad that fucking Jaboni
never passed History.

Ridiculous.

Truly amazing what's going on with the statues. A George Washington statue in Chicago was vandalized. Spray painted and a white hood (similar to KKK) was placed on its head.

A Texas Ranger statue was removed in Dallas , TX. Couldn't have that, right ? After all, Texas Rangers are COPS, right ?

"Protesters" vandalized the statues of Christopher Columbus and Juan Ponce de Leon on June 10, spray painting a hammer and sickle, Black Lives Matter fists and more. Miami Police arrested seven suspects. Dummy vandals aren't smart enough to avoid cities with Republican mayors, Republican governors. Statues of Columbus have been destroyed all over the country.
Anti-Columbus activists claim that his actions led to the transatlantic slave trade and the mass killing and exploitation of indigenous people. In Tampa, about a dozen were interviewed the day after the riots, and asked about Columbus. All agreed he was bad. None could state specifically what he did that was bad.
In Sacramento, CA, 3 legislators signed a statement saying "Christopher Columbus is a deeply polarizing historical figure given the deadly impact his arrival in this hemisphere had on indigenous populations," Actually, most Indians who died after European contact died accidently, from disease, mostly small pox. Secondly, most Indians living today owe their superior lifestyle to Columbus. Not many of them would choose to live as their ancestors did 500 years ago.

A statue of Ulysses S. Grant (who led Union forces against the Confederacy) Dopey vandals thought he was a slaveowner. Actually, he married a woman who had one slave, and they freed that slave.

Screwballs like DeBlasio, and the leftist, wild criminals he is in league with, may turn out to be the # 1 factor in getting Trump re-elected.

Statues aren't history. If only Trump cultists had ever heard of books or other types of media that document history.
Statues do represent some facets of history. That there are also history books and oter media, doesn't mean the statues aren't historical too. Of course they are.
If the overwhelming majority of a local community wants to take down a statue of an enemy that fought against the country they live in, they should be able to. They have access to the internet and other media which contains all of history. So it is a lie to say that they'll ever forget about confederate slavers murdering U.S. citizens.

Sounds about right.

I would just add that statues, if removed, should be done by government, if in conformance with the will of the people, not by lawless vandals.

Also, soldier statues should be left alone. Soldiers merely follow orders, and fight wars. Policies come from politicians, not soldiers.

"President Roosevelt believed blacks were intellectually inferior, and began to decrease the number of federal appointments to blacks and promised Southerners that he would appoint local federal officials that would not disrupt the accord between north and south."

Year 0

Clearly, the American Taliban (democrats) made Orwell's 1984 their governing handbook.

I'm buying stock in companies that give helicopter rides

They are also priceless works of art.

Museums shouldn’t be removing anything related to history.

Without a vote who the hell knows what the majority wants.
While we're at it, why not take down the statues of Jesus too.
Augustine...you're stupid, and that just can't be fixed.

After I had learned now something about Franklin D. Roosevelt and his wife Eleanor (I'm a German) I asked myselve how blind are people, who don't see greatness, while they see greatness.
