The Worst President America Ever Had

Actually the opposite is true. He has decreased the debt.

Agree that Bush jr did incredible damage but so did Reagan. Both put us deeply in debt, bush killed more than any other and Reagan made us a debtor nation. Rs should not be in power. Ever.

Clinton got a blow job and gave us a budget surplus.

Thanks for proving your incapable of being honest.

President Obama has decreased DEFICIT spending, not the debt; so did Clinton. Reagan and Bush II increase the debt by deficit spending. That's the honest truth.

Here I thought it was Congress that controlled the spending, you know how the republicans were recently vilified for trying to rein in spending.

Oh please. Obama's deficit shrunk from $1.29T in 2009 to $1.08T in 2012, showing Obama is better than Obama but as long as deficits are present, the national debt increases. Almost 6 years in, and Obama’s economy isn’t doing well at all-by any measure.

The recession has taken a bite out of tax revenues as a percentage of GDP, but the government’s tax haul is larger than it’s ever been. Despite record tax collection, Obama is running yearly deficits larger than FDR did during the Great Depression and WWII. Under Obama, the debt has increased at an unprecedented rate because his deficits are unprecedentedly high.

Might check out the historians opinions, they have been asked to rate the presidents since 1948. Most Americans can't even name all the presidents much less rate them historically, How would we rate Benjamin Harrison? Most of us rate the presidents according to our politics, In the last historian-rating they rated on twenty criteria believed important in a presidency.
Historians have it easy compared to the public, we are asked to rate a future president's performance before they served one day, historians rate after the deeds are done.
Harding has held down the worst president slot for some time. He was a good-ol-boy president and the country was robbed, even the VA took some hits.

I would only rate the Presidents of my lifetime since they are the ones that affected me.

Obama is the 2nd Worst President.

James Buchanan was The Worst.

Which President lied America into a war that the CIA designed to never end? Which President took the nation from a budget surplus to the highest debt on record? Which President tanked the global economy by deregulating business and letting Wall Street run amok? Which President created the NSA and signed the PATRIOT Act?

And again, which President lied America into a war that the CIA designed to never end?

The best argument that explains why Obama is worse than George W. Bush would be because Obama was specifically elected by a record number of voters to change the failed Cheney/Bush doctrine but didn't.

Obama has had to try to be worse than Bush for the simple fact that George W. Bush lied the country into a war that the CIA designed to be unwinnable, tortured POWs to death in secret prisons like the Khmer Rouge, and initially signed the PATRIOT Act which shreds the Fourth Amendment of the US Constitution.

Yes, Obama sucks corporate dick, but at least he isn't a Mormon. That's about the only good thing I will say about him. Fuck Barack Obama. Hang him next to Bush and Cheney for their war crimes.

No one can match that scumbag FDR in voraciously gathering dictatorial power unto himself, threatening to destroy the Supreme Court for all intents and purposes, burdening future generations with unsustainable obligations due to his reckless grasping at social engineering to end the Great Depression (and in so doing, prolonged it), nuthugging the evil Stalin, and throwing thousands upon thousands of loyal, innocent American citizens (some of our very finest citizens, as it turns out) into concentration camps. He was dishonest, disloyal, and disdainful of our Constitution; the closest thing to a full-on dictator we've ever had.

Bush Jr. the worst president ever. Hands down, no debate. Worst ever.

So says Zeke, toothless stumpbroke of USMB. We're not just counting Presidents from your lifetime, Zeke.

Bush vanquished a recession, created a paradigm for defeating the new terrorism and engineered the Bush Doctrine, in addition to helping AIDS victims in Africa.
Obama, won the Nobel Prize because of stuff he said in a speech somewhere.

Bush vanquished a recession? Do you mean the economic meltdown that occurred in 2007 because of corporate crimes? Do you mean the $2b that he spent each week in Afghanistan with absolutely no success because the world's largest banks were laundering money for terrorists? Do you mean the record debt that he left America with?

And let's not forget legalizing torture. That was the best. According to the Bush Doctrine, marijuana is evil but torture is just fine.

The buck stops at the oval office. When has the President of either party vetoed the budget, and the veto was later overruled by The Congress?

I don't believe the Tea Party Republicans are concerned with anything to the degree they are concerned with their own reelection. If they really believed in cutting spending they would lead by example and vote to cut their pay and benefits.

WTF are you blabbering about? Are you drunk already?

There he goes again...

Fallacy Boy strikes again.

Is that the ipse dixit fallacy or the appeal to democracy fallacy?

The former mostly, though he has indulged in both those and more. The boy seems utterly incapable of (and disinterested in) thinking for himself.

Rather than make childiish comments why not try defining arugument-by-authority one more time and maybe you can see your mistake; we might have to use some authorities on logic but so be it. That fallacy thing must have really hurt, but those learning things are just part of life. So let's start at the beginning: is the use of historians and presidential experts, acceptable as authorities on rating presidents? If so, then it is not a fallacy.
Now is your chance to think for yourself, and make up your answer.

I must have instructed you on it about a dozen times now. You know that you are just obstinately repeating what you know to be a fallacy because you KNOW you have nothing to say for yourself and no way to defend that scumbag FDR.
