..The mother of all modeling when it comes to COVID-19 is Neil Ferguson of Imperial College London. It was he who first said 500,000 people in England would die, and another 2.2 million in America unless drastic steps were taken. Then, when both countries panicked, he came out with a new, downgraded model (one that still overstates the reality). Ferguson was presented to the world as one of the world's foremost epidemiologists and modelers. Perhaps we should have learned more about him before accepting that claim. With help from Bill Steigerwald, Power Line has an expose that gives us more information about Ferguson.
It turns out that, in 2005, Ferguson had some predictions about the Bird Flu. He estimated 200,000,000 deaths worldwide. In fact, in the last 17 years, there've been 455 diagnosed Bird Flu deaths. But anyone is entitled to make one little 199,999,545-person error, right? Well, maybe. But what about two such errors?

Dr. Ferguson was equally off with his death projections for mad cow disease. He made big headlines in the United Kingdom by predicting that mad cow disease could kill between 50 and 50,000. Bill writes: "Millions of cows were slaughtered. But to be fair, his scientific 'model' was right. The death toll [is 178 to date]."
But wait! There's more. Ferguson also refuses to share his methodology with other scientists:

Several researchers have apparently asked to see Imperial's calculations, but Prof. Neil Ferguson, the man leading the team, has said that the computer code is 13 years old and thousands of lines of it "undocumented," making it hard for anyone to work with, let alone take it apart to identify potential errors. He has promised that it will be published in a week or so, but in the meantime reasonable people might wonder whether something made with 13-year-old, undocumented computer code should be used to justify shutting down the economy.
Ferguson is the modern equivalent of the man standing on the street corner, screaming at passers-by, "The end is near." Neither is correct; both are insane. And yet this is the man who has shut down America's economy...

That's nothing, you ought to see the one model about global warming telling us we will all die in 12 years.

These are the golden days.

God you are dumb

It seems like every model was bogus in one way or another. Poor assumptions, faulty or fabricated stats, politics. So who's to definitively say that social distancing bent the curve? It seems like every place in the world has gone through a similar cycle and most are on the mend now. Maybe the virus just went away naturally, on its own. Social distancing might have saved lives but had nothing to do with ending the cycle. The ideas expressed here are not necessarily the opinions of the author, just something to think about. Now get the hell back to work.

Close the world economy totally and everyone confined to an enclosure. Anyone leaving will be shot.

One should note that while everyone wants to live, it is the Left who are screaming to believe the worst case scenarios! And these are the people always on the wrong side of everything! Meantime, look who is doing 90% of the dying? The biggest, most leftist-democratic regions of the country. One has to wonder:
  • The effects of CV are a dream for the Left: everything they could hope for to try to make Trump look bad, blame Trump, get Trump out of office and keep Biden out of the news and by pushing the lockdown, disrupt the economy and take away everyone's liberties and freedoms!
CV is like a gift to the Democrats! Can it just be a coincidence?

We keep telling you guys the virus was done to create this as excepting they must put the fear of hell into ppl first.
1586525459368.png

Then just as in 911 they began to peel away your rights and ayll bend over and ask for more and you still keep going.
You losers won't be happy untill we are actually living like communist China.

But you see DICKS we are smarter than that we will rise up and take this nation of freedom back you pathetic bitches!!

This man should never be allowed to work for any research group ever again...but...because he managed to shut down the American economy during Trump's re-election bid.....he will be paid for his efforts by the democrat party for the rest of his life.....

Wrong, dipshit.....

But Berenson said the precipitous drop in cases has occurred before lockdowns would have had a chance to have an impact, saying it would take several weeks for social distancing measures to take effect.

We should reduce funding to the WHO to the same amount china gives
