In a Republic, actually
‘In a press conference over Zoom Monday, leaders of the Florida Supervisors of Elections association urged patience with results from the General Election and trust in your local supervisor.

Their worst nightmare would be a last-minute lawsuit throwing a wrench in the system or a flood of disinformation.

Wesley Wilcox of Marion County and Mark Earley from Leon say voters will need to have patience with the vote-counting process.

It could take longer in large counties — like the traffic jams in those areas — as last-minute vote-by-mail ballots are counted.

Some of those ballots could be counted the next morning, Earley says.

“Our focus is on getting this right, not getting it done as fast as possible to satisfy all the voices out there,” Earley said.

They’re working with law enforcement to make sure voters are safe. And Earley says they don’t want “party heads” trying to help them out.'

Florida law requires ballot counts to be completed by the Saturday after the election.

Took a month to figure out Florida in 2000

The key in 2020 is can we get an early call in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, North Carolina, Ohio

If we get a call on four of those for either Biden or Trump we will know who won

As long as it's one legitimate vote from one legitimate voter, that got their vote in before the close
of the precincts. (not after), I'm good with it.
Seems in past elections that the ones found after they close seem to weighted heavily to the democrats. :eusa_whistle:
funny that

Gotta hold back those boxes in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach Counties, to make sure they have the right amount of past-post ballots stuffed to the seams.

I agree...given that moron that runs Miami-Dade is still in there......

You know they are planning on cheating.

Wow, I would be shocked if Florida was a non-factor.

Biden can lose Florida and still win
Trump can’t

True.

However those states will also be dealing with an unprecedented volume of mail in ballots.
