The winner in the Ukraine - Russia war

China, Russia, America?
Whatever super power rebuilds the Ukraine will be establishing itself as the power that controls the entire region. Perhaps even the EU, acting as a non-military bloc?

Also of great interest, what country will own Cuba?

I say we round-up the dems, revoke their citizenship, and exile them there....Either that or (preferably) South Georgia Island.....Even Cuba does not deserve dems. ;)

Blah, with our luck Disney will make a deal to buy Cuba first.

In all likelihood, America will miss the opportunities and make the same mistakes as in the past. Such a wonderful and talented country, yet so often so inept.

China needs to be cut off.
You should never negotiate with terrorist regimes. Appeasement only makes the aggressor more aggressive.
Since that is impossible (and since China could lob the same accusation back at the U.S.), the strategically smart thing would be to reduce tensions and increase friendship.

Not impossible. It only takes the will. Too many democrats getting Chinese money.
The duopoly gets money from everywhere, including the people it was elected by, but mostly from those whom it represents, and that is not the same group.

...as in -cology?

He'll be here all weekend folks.

The saying goes that there are no winners in wars. It's different this time. There will be one big, happy winner.
China.
The "West" is weakened. Russia is weakened. American influence is (further) weakened. China waits in the wings to pick up the pieces. It will sell goods to a Russia that can find them nowhere else. It will produce and sell the goods that Germany and the rest of Europe will be reduced in producing. It will gain prestige and influence simply through not having been so idiotic as all the others. It may even help rebuild Ukraine and gain even bigger.
Time to build better relations with Beijing.
The New Cold War will be profitable for some:

Additionally, US energy providers will benefit from Russian losses in Europe which probably explains a great deal about why this war took place.
