Sorry, shithead, if you can't even bother getting a link source without a paywall to read, then I must assume it isn't worth reading.

BUT I GET THE IDEA: Basically, the reason why most of the southwestern USA has scrubgrass and deserts is because it normally is more arid than in the East. Hot and Dry---- part of what makes Tornado Alley.

That's why I posted the graphics, so that you'd have a visual representation of the drought without access to the link. The link was kindly provided by myself so you'd know the source of the graphics.

Interesting maps, but what it your point of talking about it?
So you'd be aware of how drought stricken the West is, and how the problem is only going to get worse in the coming years. You can process the reasons for said drought however you please.

No it is just part of the wet and dry cycle that is actually common in the West Region, your ignorance of this because you read the NYT birdcage paper.

You haven't made a point at all.

It was drier in 2013, thus your source is lying as usual, when it claims it is the driest in 20 years.

From the NOAA

LINK for the 2000 to 2021 time frame

LINK for the 1895 to 2021 time frame.

Interesting link, and I appreciate your feedback, but there is one problem with your assertion that it was drier in 2013 than it is in 2021: Your climate data does not include 2021, it ends at 2020. The assertion that we are drier in 2021 than at anytime in the past 20 years is correct and factual.

But thanks for playing.

Year 2021 is only 5 1/2 month long, not a full year thus not included.

Here is the evidence that year 2013 is the driest year since 2000 again from the NOAA:
