The Way Forward

The dialog must begin Barretta. Unfortunately you must prepare yourself for the innevitable insults of being a sellout and possibly even told you don't belong in the party.
Still ignoring the fact that Ted Cruz and Jeff Flake won in states with very large Latino communities, aren't ya?

I have a clue for ya: They didn't do so by pandering to disparate pressure/identity groups.

Maybe you should ask yourself why those Latinos left those despotic hell holes for America.

How do you expect to attract their votes by threatening to send them back?

We must buy them candy and tell more of them to come. That is what we must do. More candy, more illegals,, it's just great.
Not saying that at all, and you know it.

As it is with dropping the social issue swill, the republicans need to give up the idea that they can scoop up millions of people, sort them all out, and export them back to where they came from....Maintaining and securing the border is another issue entirely.

I didn't say scoop them up. Grant them amnesty and you throw open the doors to millions more cause the proof is in the pudding, neither party has the balls or the will to secure the border. So you may as well throw in the towel and buy them some candy cause you're stuck with them.Them democrats are buying them candy so they can get their vote. Republicans must now become democrats and buy em some candy too.

Are you in favor of Federal or State laws strictly controlling and identifying those who would chose to flood across our borders to take residence here?

You don't throw the doors open any more so than they are today....How could they be open any wider?

Like I said, securing the border is a separate issue form those who are already here.

have you decided which way you're going to go.. dependency or responsibility?

Stfu

I live off my business. Where do your checks come from? Whos name is on the front of them.

Like Milton Friedman, I'm in favor of getting rid of the socialistic welfare state, then we can be certain that all who immigrate will be here for the right reasons and pull their own weight.

Sorry I goofed up your grade-schooler attempt at trying to trap me.

That was your sackless admission that you are an open-borders loon.

Worse than most of your fellow Libtards on that one, which is why you guys continue to not matter.

And I don't have to switch parties. My checks come from my consumers. Yours come from the govt. Who's closer to being a taker based on that? Have you exceeded the amount you contributed yet so you actually are a taker?

But as a over-riding philosophical and political tenet, you support the policy of open borders, don't you?

Or are you too gutless to give us a yes or no answer to that one?

LOL

I voted for Ted Cruz on purpose. He has a brilliant legal mind, he is very conservative, and he keeps his eye on the fiscal ball. He's for family and for our state.

All else is dross. You're unimpeachable in theory, Mr. Oddball.

There is a downside to controlling the border. Future claims will be made by immigrants on this side of the border to bring over 50 relatives apiece once they are citizens. Even if it were only 10 each, for every one of the 9,000,000 illegals here now (conservative estimate) that winds up adding another quarter (more or less) to our already 300,000,000 people in the lower 48. Our natural resources are already strapped trying to get water in and sewage out without mixing the two up.

Also, there's no sense in bringing people over here who simply wish to expropriate the land they live on to their old country that didn't want them and that years have erased their memory of why they left such a murderous, uncouth, corrupt political area that pushed many of them out with a price on their head if they returned. Also, our neighbor to the south executes people who cross their southern borders. Executes. And they caterwaul at the USA if THEIR mules murder a busload of Mexican immigrants, over which we have zero control unless we build an impenetrable Great Wall like China built eons ago, complete with kill stations at every 20 yards. I'm advocating nothing, just saying. :eusa_whistle:

Sniper, he said, "securing the border is a separate issue form those who are already here." Words have meaning.

Which is why you concentrate on turning those who are already here into Americans, rather than hyphenated-Americans.....Which doesn't require selling out national sovereignty, as the xenophobes claim it does.

BTW, y'ever noticed that we've had the same "open border" to the north, yet don't have hordes of Canadians pouring southward?
