The UN Sending Election Observers To...NEW HAMPSHIRE?

Watch out, Concord—the blue helmets are on their way. Well, sort of...

Christian Adams at PJTV.com reports that the UN is sending election observers to locations across the country, and on the list are Boston, and Concord, NH:
For example, Aida Alzhanova of Kazakhstan will be monitoring in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Phoenix, Arizona. Elchin Musayvev from Azerbaijan will be monitoring in [Boston and] Concord, New Hampshire
.
Kazakhstan has been criticized for a weak human rights record and a government that tightly controlls speech, assembly and the free exercise of religion. Azerbaijan is worse. The government there has violently cracked down on peaceful protests and the “atmosphere for journalists is hostile. . . . The government tightened restrictions on religious groups. . . . Torture and ill-treatment in police custody continue with impunity.”
You can see the list of observers and their destinations here.

Not sure exactly where in Boston and Concord these “observers” are going to be, but I bet it won’t be any place where they might run into this guy:

In Philadelphia, members of the New Black Panther party engaged in ACTUAL voter intimidation in 2008. Nope—Philly’s not on the UN’s list.

May I politely type WTF???!!?? Seriously get the UN out of the US.

They must be worried that Obama is going to steal the election:)

Did you see the countries that will be sending reps to observe us? Countries with seriously curtailed freedoms in both speech and actions watching American voters exercising their freedoms in of all places New Hampshire, the live free or die state? Talk about a total joke.

i bet if i wait around long enough, there will be a point to all the whining.

You do not see the twisted irony of countries living in various forms of oppression sending reps to observe us as we vote freely?

The UN is a joke in many ways but this just proves it once again.

Why is the UN sending observers?

Strange ... may be they also think ( like many of us do) that things are getting out of control under the Obama administration.

Conservatives Panic Over 'U.N.-Affiliated' Election Monitors | ThinkProgress

counter to conservatives, the monitors have no mandate to interfere in the elections. In a press release, the OSCE laid out precisely what the mission of the observers actually is:
Observers from 30 countries have been monitoring campaign finance activity and legal changes related to early voting and whether voters must present identification at polling stations. Observers will receive a full set of political and election-related briefings in Washington prior to fanning out across several states to observe election day activity.
“We are not coming to judge a result but to report about the process,” [Joao Soares, (MP, Portugal) who has been appointed to lead the observation mission,] said. “In a country so well known for its diverse citizenry, we will observe how inclusive the election process is in line with the country’s own laws and international election commitments.”
In fact, the OSCE, unknown to many of those panicking today, has had monitors present to observe every national U.S. election for the past decade. Reports have been issued by monitors for the midterm elections in 2002, 2006, and 2010, as well as the Presidential elections of 2004 and 2008. In none of those instances did the presence of monitors affect the outcome or votes cast.

Guess it must be because of all those Johnson voters that could cost Romney the election the way Nader voters in NH cost Gore. The U.N. must have word that Republican operatives are going to pull some shenanigans. They've got so many convinced its the Dems that are cheating, they probably think they can get away with it. Thank God the U.N. is on the job to make sure Mitt doesn't pull a Chavez. :clap2:

The countries under the UNs direction sending people living in oppressed societies to observe us? Laughable.

Yeah, countries where elections are decided in a region that just happens to be run by a relative of one of the candidates. You mean oppressed countries like that?

Run by one of the relatives of the candidates? Man the left must be full of cheaters to make that stretch. Focus. We have oppressed people from oppressed 3rd world countries being sent by the UN to observe one of our greatest freedoms, voting. You do not find this truth ridiculous.

We should not tolerate this type of interference by the UN in our elections. To compare our elections to ones dictator Chavez runs that do require monitoring is pathetic. Our elections are state run and we should ask all our governors of the states affected to tell the UN and their "monitors" to get out of our states.

The people who talk about cheating the most are usually the biggest cheaters themselves.

If I spot one I'm gonna take his photograph. :D What am I looking for?
