The TRUTH about slavery in the U.S.A.

Patriot are you trying to justify slavery? Good luck. Slave owners should have been locked away.
Justify it? Are you fucking kidding me? I'm the ultimate advocate of liberty.

Your side of the aisle is lying about history so that they can circumvent the U.S. Constitution and bring slavery back. I'm simply correcting the lies. If your side is going to bring back slavery and oppression - you're simply going to have to do it by convincing the American people it's the way to go. Not by lying about history.
I'm pretty sure the only freedom you support is the freedom to own slaves
You're the one supporting lies for control. Truth is freedom. You're so indoctrinated, you're losing your shit over the truth in this thread.

The Founding Fathers were geniuses but they couldn't foresee the future. The sad fact of life at the time throughout the world was that captured Africans were considered to be sub-human. As a matter of fact the Irish were barely a step up from African slaves for a couple of hundred years leading up to the Civil War. The attitude might have been wrong but the Constitution was and still is the greatest document ever written. Hypocrite race baiting lefties as well as normal people live in peace and security today because of the risks the Founding Fathers took to create a government of the people for the first time in human history.

So you agree the founding father's weren't much at all. I am retired. Owned my own business. My son has it now. As every other american its all about self responsibility and family...then country eventually.

you still haven't told us who is doing all this indoctrination and why?

whitehall, the racebaiting alt right like Patriot are every bit as destructive as BLM etc.

So flopper you think that is justification for slavery? What you are admitting is plantation owners were greedy and lazy. Ungodly lazy. In other words...pathetic. Thank you. If that's the way it was in those days then let's call slavery the darkest most heinous time in american history.
And yet you support slavery today! Progressives are greedy and lazy. They demand that government place a gun to the head's of conservatives and take by force 60% of what our labor earned - and then hand it to progressives that don't want to work because they'd rather stay home watching tv and getting drunk or stoned.

That is the way it is today - so let's call progressivism the darkest, most heinous time in American history. Because it is.
did you just compare paying your taxes to slavery?
Paying taxes means money going to the constitutional responsibilities of the federal government which equally benefits all (such as our military, our state department, our federal courts).

When you unconstitutionally confiscate money from one against their will and give it to someone else - that is the very definition of slavery. Based on your astoundingly ignorant comments on this thread, I can surmise that you don't even know this (and that you're very young and näive) but the U.S. Constitution explicitly limits the federal government to 18 enumerated powers and providing healthcare, food, housing, etc. is not one of them. It is slavery in its purest form. Forcing people to labor against their will and then confiscating the fruits of those labor.

If the Constitution was NOT created by racist oppressive white men, why did it include the 1807 anti-slave trade clause which empowered domestic slave holders and enriched them?

That was actually the purpose of it, unless YOU don't know the history of slavery in the US?

The prohibition of international slave trading was overwhelmingly supported by established slave holders who then got to sell their own slaves as capital rather than mere labor in an open market.
Well...for starters...it didn't. No such "clause" exists in the U.S. Constitution. Never did. So you're either lying or you are a prime example of the uninformed, uneducated progressive minion that has been duped by their progressive masters.

Now - what I think you're attempting to refer to here was the federal law enacted in 1807 (which was not an amendment to the U.S. Constitution) which prohibited slaves from being imported into the U.S. Or the exact opposite of what you claimed above.

Act Prohibiting Importation of Slaves - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person."

Article 1 Section 9
That's not the 1807 anti-slavery trade clause cited above by Brambo and highlighted above by me. Would you like to try again?

Brambo clearly stated above that the U.S. Constitution "included the 1807 anti-slavery clause". I said it didn't and never has. Was that a deliberate attempt by you to be disingenuous and protect your precious progressive ideology from being exposed or was that your inability to read and understand what was written by all parties?

The Constitution prohibited Congress from legislatively halting the importation of slaves until 1808.

Patriot is copying verbatim out of the Freemen's hand book. At least post the title and page number.

What you think the Constitution authorizes and what it actually authorizes are two different things.

And that's what the other poster was talking about.

You just admitted the Constitution protected slavery.

You cannot compare beating and whipping and persistently physically abusiabusing a person to paying taxes. Many slaves were abused in this fashion. Its called torture.

Bwahahahaha! Watching you lose your shit in the face of reality is fall down hilarious. Calling slavery "paying your taxes" (because you've been indoctrinated to believe that) doesn't cease to make it slavery. It's just slavery by another name.

The punishment is not what makes slavery, slavery. Being forced to labor for the benefit of someone else is what makes slavery, slavery.

When conservatives labor and have the fruits of that labor confiscated against their will and the barrel of a gun for someone else's benefit (as is the case with welfare, food stamps, housing, Medicaid, etc.), that is the very definition of slavery, genius.

Why do you think it is progressives that support it? The left insisted on slavery in the 1700's, attacked their own country to keep slavery in the 1800's, and simply reintroduced it in the form of idiotic socialism in the 1900's.

paying your taxes is not slavery

also if it is.... that means the Constitution supports slavery by your definition, which goes against your original argument so I dont know where your going with this.... I'm still waiting for you to blame the jews

This country made two very big mistakes in it's history. First mistake was to bring slaves into the country. Second big mistake was to not take them back to Africa when they were freed by Lincoln.
